@FractalityX 🤣🤣 I’m still learning about life

Good news, it was nothing. A muscle spasm of my lower back, I mistook that for kidney because I had a fever a few nights ago and chatgpt said it might be stones. The pain started, I ignored it. Got worse, I contacted a doctor booked an appointment for later today. At first I couldn’t get a date for tomorrow - until I said money isn’t an issue. Pain gets worse an hour later, I call back and ask if there is a doctor available. They advise me to go to the ER. Try booking a cab, closet one is 9 minutes away, I cancel, rebook and spam tips, I don’t care at this point how much it costs, I just want to get to the doctor. Instantly get one 2 minutes away. Idiot drops me off on the wrong gate, I walk towards the entrance, turns out ER is still 350m away. The pain is at peak, I’m laughing hysterically to feel better, I start running because in my mind I might pass out from the pain. I legit have a very high pain tolerance due to my childhood shenanigans. I run, fuck the pain. I reach ER, it’s empty and I get happy. I rush to the reception and ask for help. Tells me to wait… ITS ER WHY SHOULD I WAIT. Pain has wearied off, I don’t realise though as I’m panicked. I go wait and then I realise my wallet has enough to bribe the guy. I pull out my wallet, drop as much cash I have, tell him again money isn’t an issue. I have no clue how hospitals work, I’ve lived in a very protected bubble, everything would be handled by someone. He gets out of his mighty chair, and I follow him to the inside, where he gets me a doctor. The doctor/resident is very kind, I tell him I think it’s kidney stones & I came running. He asks me if it’s still hurting. I realise then, it’s not. He then proceeds to explain very calmly, if I had stones I wouldn’t be able to walk let alone run. My back muscles must have tightened way too much, and the running just loosened them. Tells me to drink water, stay for 15-20 minutes incase pain comes back. It doesn’t come back, tells me it happened because I am severely dehydrated and most likely not doing any physical activity. I’m relieved. My phone is dead now. No cabs, silent road. Walk around, find a cab, guy says he is leaving for home, offer him a ridiculous amount of money to drop me home. He agrees. I’m home, I sit down, and I laugh. I thank god. I have just moved out, I’m missing my morning walks, not drinking water and honestly just sitting on my chair 14 hours a day. No wonder my back spasm’d so bad. Joining the gym tomorrow, no more excuses. Made me realise, such a small thing made me feel so much anxiety, I’m glad i have money to not care how much it costs to get things done as fast as possible. The entire ordeal cost me $400-500, I would’ve spent any amount at that point to get to the doctor, I’m glad India is cheap. I didn’t even care when I got home about the amount. Money is funny this way, loses all its value to you when you’re sick, but can provide you instant comfort if you’ve got enough. Thank you everyone for your prayers.
