The release candidate for MCP 2026-07-28 is out. The protocol is now stateless: no handshake, no session id, any request can hit any server instance. Plus extensions as first-class (MCP Apps, Tasks), auth hardening, and a proper deprecation policy so we don't have to do this again. blog.modelcontextprotocol.io/posts/2026-07-…

@PawelJLisowski I don’t disagree, and in fact would say I’m doing this through what I’m building. It still far less rewarding however, mainly because 1. code is lower value 2. the experience of working with agents is uncomfortable 3. I learn less 4. Im reducing my own capabilities

@KenyaPower_Care Hello, kindly advise why the entirety of the Magongo area has been losing power every single day for the last two weeks. Intermittent power losses and returns, as well as power surges. Our electronics are at very high risk. No power currently too.

@dreamsofcode_io Those are your cognitive muscles waking. Muscles atrophy when external systems carry the load for too long, and this quietens my anxiety too knowing I am not alone.

I’ve been getting back into coding by hand, specifically challenging myself to doing low level Rust, whilst streaming on Twitch. Skill atrophy is absolutely a thing. Kinda embarrassing how difficult the first day was. Second day was a lot better, but it honestly scares me about setting myself up for a future dependency by outsourcing these skills to coding agents. Maybe it won’t matter, but something inside me screams danger about the idea of paying a subscription fee just to be able to write code.

If the Bun to Rust rewrite ends up being a success, I wonder if Anthropic will produce a product to perform language rewrite. Basically something like AWS Transform, but for modern languages. RIIR as a service.

Hello mental healthcare providers, The MindFiti telepsychiatry platform is fully integrated and functional, fully anonymous or not depending on the patient's preference. You can be able to see your patients on the platform and we have incorporated reliable pharmacies incase you need to prescribe for a patient. Prices start from 1500 for a 30 minutes session as you go higher depending on time and long term commitment. A provider can also set their preferred payment if the patient agrees. We’re an aggregator of mental health services. Providers get email and message notifications when their clients book sessions. Payment (70% of the platform’s listed consultation fee,30% goes to KRA and platforms commission) is made immediately (30 minutes to one hour) after end of the session. Also inform the psychologists and psychotherapists to sign up in the platform and be able to serve awaiting clients.

Portless killed :3000 Dev servers got stable names like myapp.localhost Agents could use worktrees in parallel without stepping on each other Now it's easier than ever in v0.11 Just run: portless Zero config. Zero args. Zero code changes.

@Safaricom_Care Hello could you please help me terminate my Safaricom B-Live subscription? I would rather use data as the throttling is affecting my work.

@dannyclassi_c Now instead of spawning different services for your backend, taste something like Motia (another opinionated backend service that has a learning curve but runs some state, redis, and is polyglot and still runs as a docker container) and dance to the moon.

Deployed my CI/CD engine to a VPS tonight and I finally understand why developers need one. I tried Render first. Free Postgres expires in 90 days. Can't run Docker inside their containers. The whole point of my project is spawning Docker containers to build code and the hosting platform won't let me run Docker. That's like building a car and being told the parking lot doesn't allow engines. So I got a Hetzner VPS. $5.59/month. SSH'd in, installed Node, Docker, Postgres, everything I needed. No restrictions. No "upgrade to pro for this feature." My server, my rules. Went from zero VPS experience to a fully deployed backend with Postgres in Docker, PM2 keeping the process alive, and GitHub OAuth working from a cloud server in Helsinki. The backend roadmap says "learn cloud infrastructure." I just did — because my project demanded it. Day 49.
