Ohio’s Republican legislature gave us ballot drop boxes when they passed their voter ID bill in 2022 that exempted photo ID for mail-in ballots and on top of “no-excuse” absentee ballots.
Now, Ohio’s 88 County Board of Elections fight through their special interest lobby and Democrat law firms/media to keep the lone county drop box and WILL eventually expand them and add “voting centers” beyond precinct polling vote locations. Some Republican Board of election directors even want voting centers for completely small minded reasons.
Ohio’s current elected Republicans do not have the will or desire to fight for election integrity. The window to restore integrity through public oversight and accountability is closing before 2028.

For years, every Columbus medic unit ran with TWO paramedics.
Then the City changed the system to what’s called a “P&B” model — one paramedic and one EMT. Why? To save money. Paramedics cost more to train. They’re paid more. So Columbus cut the highest level of medical staffing in half on medic units to reduce costs.
Here’s the question Columbus residents should be asking:
WHERE did the savings go?
Because taxpayers certainly didn’t see lower taxes.
Firefighters and medics certainly didn’t see safer stations, newer apparatus, or better staffing.
Instead, it’s what we are seeing today.
So let’s get this straight…
The city reduced EMS staffing to save money… but somehow there’s STILL no money for enough firefighters, enough medics, functioning reserve trucks, or safe working conditions?
Columbus residents are paying more than ever for public safety — while the people responding to your emergencies are being forced to work inside a system that firefighters themselves have been warning is falling apart.
The citizens of Columbus deserve answers. And the firefighters and medics protecting this city deserve far better than this.
