In one of JWST’s deep-field images is a tiny red dot whose identity is mysterious.
Its discoverers suggested it might be a galaxy shining less than 100 million years after the Big Bang, far earlier than theorists thought possible.
Now, another team argues the object—dubbed Capotauro—may instead be something even more exotic: the long-sought explosion of a primordial, first-generation star. scim.ag/4a3UFBw
Love the old Road Runner cartoons, but one thing always bothered me. If that Coyote had enough money to buy all that stuff from Acme then why didn't he just order a deep dish pizza or something else to eat?
@wishbone6666@IchibanDeath@SDembraski If I could get a quote from Tesla even close to $100/mo that would be fantastic... BUT, at least as the Tesla app is currently configured, they won't give me even a "ballpark" quote unless I've already purchased/leased a vehicle.
Come on Tesla, work with me here...
@FreddySeg188641@IchibanDeath@SDembraski My Tesla insurance on my 26M3AWD in Chicagoland is about a $100 per month. I am a low mileage driver. The more I use FSD the cheaper the rate.
Ive had multiple Tesla's. I have never put a screen protector on. I honestly haven't seen the need for it.
I wanted to ask others out there.
Do you have a screen protector on your main screen?
If so is it worth it?
@IchibanDeath@SDembraski I was getting a quote on a Y Premium RWD with an FSD subscription... 5K/yr
And thats with good driving record, no accidents, no tickets
@IchibanDeath@SDembraski AAA agent told me that new Tesla 3s & Ys are some of the most expensive cars to insure (at least in SoCal) because they are not easily repairable...
I really want FSD but the numbers just aren't penciling out
@benonwine It depend on how you classify them.
They are NOT a rock & roll band, never were.
BUT they influenced a lot of R&R groups.
They innovated and experimented with the clout to get away with it.
IMO they leaned too heavily on English Vaudeville (Yellow Sub, 64, Sgt Pepper, etc.)
@SDembraski Why does it have to be this hard?
I got 3 quotes from big carriers here (Cali).
All 3 were close to (or exceeded) the yearly cost of a Tesla lease.
Just trying to get a quote from Tesla BEFORE leasing to see if it makes economic sense.
