@thisisanfield injuries dont explain the lack of fitness of the non injured players. bar ali, the injuries werent even for on existing the core players of the club per say, most on the newer players that havent been well integrated at all. weak excuse of the rubbish performance this season

Former Netherlands international Jan Everse, who managed Slot at PEC Zwolle: “The worst thing that can happen is that they fire him. But they would be very stupid. “Slot came in and he became champion. Everybody was happy. And now one player is not satisfied because he’s played bad. “You will now see them competing for the title again.”

@LakersLegacyPod no, AD is not worth that contract with his injury issues. we already have an anemic bench, i rather bolster that area that waste it on 1 very expensive injury prone player

Would Lakers fans trade Two First Round Picks (one of them being the 2026 1st)- To get ANTHONY DAVIS back? (Ignore that this is a 4 for 1 Trade and LAL would likely be taking back more players - but the Lakers can just absorb a large chunk of AD’s $58M salary.)

@LFCApproved was there no regular grief counseling to help the process? heck players could have requested for it or do it with their own free time. ppl react differently to grief, surprising how most of them went the walking zombie route instead of play harder to honor his memory route

Crazy because a lot of the fanbase accepted this would be the case throughout the season, and then a lot turned on the whole club. Hearing the players finally speak out about what has been a season of suffering on and off the pitch should open the eyes of a few of you. What they have been through isn’t normal, and now we finally see grief with the acceptance to talk about how hard it has been, we hopefully see a side that are going to be mentally stronger and in a position to fight again. They’ll never forget Diogo Jota, we will never forget Diogo Jota however, the grieving will turn to strength and a desire.

🚨🗣️ 𝗡𝗘𝗪: Virgil van Dijk opens up about how the Liverpool squad has not been able to process Diogo Jota's death very well throughout the season. "From the moment it happened, we all returned from our vacation and ever since then we have been on a train that just kept on going. There was not even a winter break." "We just had to keep on going. We tried to hold meetings about what happened but at the same time we kept getting confronted with what happened while at the same time having to play a game every 3 days." "When we would win a game, we would suddenly lose again a fews later. Our emotions went up and down, up and down, it has not been easy for us." — ViaPlay

🚨 NEW: Andy Robertson on what went wrong this season - “Now this year hasn’t worked out for a variety of reasons. We can’t hide away from it, and it is not an excuse, but what we went through in the summer no team will ever go through. No member of staff will go through. I hope they never go through it because the devastation we went through… football didn’t matter. “We didn’t care about football for weeks. None of us wanted to train. You were getting treatment off physios and physios didn’t want to treat you. That is the reality of it. As footballers we then, of course, have a duty — we have to move on, we have to keep going and we managed that. We started the season fairly well although it was still an emotional time for us. “The Bournemouth game [on the opening day of the season] was ridiculously emotional with all of Jots’s family being there. I think in the 20th minute you saw a real dip in performance after that because of the emotional impact it had on all of us… “We have been too easy to play against. There is no hiding away from that. But for the future of Liverpool, I believe they have more than enough in that changing room to go and achieve more things again.”

@Nyeipang18 @TouchlineX im not saying there that they had to process it quick. my problem is, he said they tried to hold meetings about it but basically got too busy to do so coz their form was rubbish. could easily let slot know that the squad needed this and set aside time for it not go on holiday.

Lakers Trade For Modern Center! Heat Get Picks To Pursue Giannis Seeking a young modern two-way center to match the Thunder and Spurs, the Lakers should offer the Heat a package of Dalton Knecht, #25 pick, and their 2031 first round pick for promising young modern center Kel’el Ware. At 7' 0" with a 7' 5" wingspan and 250 lb body, Ware is the perfect modern center the Lakers need. Last season, he averaged 11.1 points, 9.0 rebounds (incl 2.8 offensive), 0.7 assists, 1.1 blocks, and 0.8 steals in just 22.1 mpg. Kel’el checks all the boxes the Lakers desire in a modern starting center. He’s a 3-level scorer who shot 39.5% from deep on 3 attempts and averaged 1.9 stocks per game. He’s now ready for a bigger role and starter minutes. Besides backing up Adebayo, Ware also showed he could successfully share the floor with a second big, spending almost half of his minutes playing with Bam in a twin towers lineup with a net rating better than the team. Ware is the ideal center to anchor the Lakers’ defense and modernize their offense. LA could pair Kel’el Ware with a starter-caliber elite backup center like Robert Williams III, whose injury history limits his minutes played. Trading for Ware would also be a financial coup for the Lakers as Kel’el has 2 years and $12M still left on his rookie deal. Paying just $6M per year for a starting center makes it easier for LA to build an elite roster around Luka. After re-signing their own free agents, including Reaves and James, and trading for Ware, LA should still have over $50M in cap space left to sign a starting small forward and backup center from other team’s free agents. Trading for Ware gives the Lakers their starting center of the future and leaves them with $50M in cap space, 1 first round pick, and 1 second round pick to use for an elite 3&D starting wing plus more defense and shooting. medium.com/p/lakers-trade…

@Nick___Collins sure hope its true. only way its a real restart is if he and probably his staff leaves. biggest problem i have had with slot ball all season is the lack of fitness and team cohesiveness. its inexcusable to still be performing as though its preseason at this time.

Just found out from a friend of mine at the club - Slot is gone! He’s not been sacked but it’s mutual from both parties for a clean break. It will be announced next week, they’re trying to get Iraola as a replacement. Take it with a pinch of salt but personally believe it 🥳

@AnythingLFC_ its obviously not solely his fault, rarely is it the fault of a single person. but u cant deny that his arrival was the beginning of the decline, once the club decided to prioritize signing him instead of getting guehi done, the plans for the season looked like it got screwed up

🇸🇪🗣️ Anders Limpar on Alexander Isak : “He came to Liverpool when the team's performance was declining. If a new player arrives when the team is struggling, who are they going to blame? I mean, the biggest signing, Alexander Isak, is being blamed. It's not his fault, it's the whole club's fault if they don't succeed. It's the manager, all the players, and the staff. You can't just point to Alexander Isak as the sole reason why Liverpool hasn't been successful. That's not fair, especially with an injury like this. But I would like to see him stepping up."

The Lakers could potentially make this offer to the Bucks for Giannis Antetokounmpo, per Shams Charania: • 2026 Draft No. 25 pick • 2031 and 2033 first round picks • Two pick swaps • Absorb Giannis contract without salary going to Milwaukee 👀

Should Peyton Watson be priority #1 for the Lakers in free agency? - Only 23 and coming off 15/5/2 on 49/41/78 - Good help-side rim protector - Legitimate 6'8 3&D with 15-20+PPG upside He is a RFA, but it helps that Denver is currently pushing the 2nd apron once again. Would be interesting to see the Lakers force their hand with a contract offer. Also was cool to see him at the Lakers facility with the #13 Wilt and #44 West behind him during the Klutch Sports pro day In-depth breakdown here - youtube.com/watch?v=XWV07m…
