Why do you people keep forcing this comparison? Man City and Arsenal are not on the same level, never have been.
City are an elite, serial winning machine. Arsenal are a nearly club living off good runs and moral victories. When City have a bad patch, it still ends with trophies. When Arsenal have a good patch, it ends with excuses, narratives and documentaries.
Eight-game form means nothing. City are measured by titles, CL nights and history written in silverware. Arsenal are measured by bottling discourse, xG charts, and at least we tried press conferences.
One club tightens up and finishes strong, the other panics, wobbles and starts comparing itself to City to feel relevant.
