Since last night, first responders and all necessary services have been working wherever needed. As of now, at least 83 people have been confirmed injured since midnight. Tragically, there are fatalities. My condolences to the families and loved ones. It was a heavy attack – 90 missiles of various types, many of them ballistic missiles – 36 in total. There were 600 drones. Unfortunately, not all of the ballistic missiles were intercepted – the largest number of hits was in Kyiv. Kyiv was the primary target of this Russian attack. Putin can’t even pronounce the word “hurrah” clearly anymore – slurs and mumbles – yet he is still vanquishing residential buildings with his missiles. Launched three Russian missiles against a water supply facility. Burned down a market. Damaged dozens of residential buildings. Hit several ordinary schools. Launched his “Oreshnik” against Bila Tserkva. They really are unhinged. It is important that this does not pass without consequences for Russia. Today, everyone in the world who will not stay silent and chooses to help Ukraine is a defender of life. It is critically important to continue working to secure air defense for Ukraine, especially anti-ballistic capabilities. We are doing our best to achieve peace and protect people – everything. It is important that Ukraine is not alone. Decisions are needed – from the United States, from Europe and others – to make that old “Oreshnik” in Moscow finally utter the word “peace.”

To summarise the engagements we had in Russia. I was honoured to join the Zimbabwean delegation at the 11th Digital Industry of Industrial Russia (CIPR) Conference in Nizhny Novgorod, led by the Honourable Vice President, Gen (Rtd) Dr C. G. D. N. Chiwenga. I held productive bilateral discussions with Russia’s Deputy Minister for Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media, Mr Alexandr Shojtov, on deepening cooperation between our two countries in ICTs, innovation, and digital transformation. I also participated in a meeting with the Governor of Nizhny Novgorod, Mr Gleb Nikitin, where we explored business and investment opportunities between Zimbabwe and Russia. During a panel on building ecosystems for smart manufacturing in developing countries, I stressed that Zimbabwe is deliberately moving beyond isolated digitisation toward robust ecosystem infrastructure. This transformation must be anchored on reliable power and sovereign data centres to truly empower local industry and homegrown innovation. Later, I joined the Honourable Vice President for business engagements with companies from the region and was privileged to represent him at a meeting with Zimbabwean students studying in Nizhny Novgorod. We shared messages of hope and delivered grocery hampers from His Excellency President Dr E. D. Mnangagwa a touching gesture of care from home. This was an insightful and highly informative trip. We will continue pursuing a Digitilised Zimbabwe which appreciates and learns from others but above all develop our own ICT landscape with Zimbabwean characteristics , ethical and cultural contexts. #CIPR2026 #DigitalTransformation #SmartManufacturing

I attended the Baradzanwa Mbira Festival, where I experienced a deeply moving celebration of our heritage, identity and ancestral sound during Culture Month celebrations. The mbira, played by artisans, young performers and masters alike, continues to carry our stories, spirituality and unity across generations. It is more than music it is lived memory and a cultural heartbeat that connects families, communities and our national identity. Through initiatives such as this festival, we are not only promoting cultural tourism but also empowering communities and nurturing pride in our traditions. I also toured mbira exhibitions, had the honour of launching the Mbira Virtuosos publication, and took part in recognising both living and late legends who have safeguarded this sacred instrument for generations.

Guys, come on. Everyone knows that Ginimbi’s money was his own money from his gas company and other dealings that I won’t get into. But Wicknell’s money belongs to the first family and he is just a runner of their “financial interests” because he is not afraid to do dirty work. The so-called philanthropy is a PR exercise being done to win support and kill criticism for an unpopular President and family. Just like command agriculture was designed to win support for an unlikable President, so is Wicknell’s philanthropy that he fronts on behalf of the first family. The fraud case opened in South Africa outlines who Wicknell works for and I have read it and we now know the truth.

Title: A Statement of Clarity, Grace, and Purpose The Truth About Sir Wicknell Chivhayo There comes a time when silence is no longer a virtue, and the truth must be spoken plainly. This is that time. Sir Wicknell Chivhayo has endured months of relentless public attacks, baseless accusations, and invasive scrutiny not because he has done wrong, but because he dares to exist boldly, generously, and successfully. 1. He is NOT a politician so why the political attacks? Certain political figures have repeatedly targeted Sir Wicknell, yet he holds no political office and seeks none. The real issue? Some individuals feel threatened by his larger-than-life personality and the undeniable God-given grace upon his life including his ability to genuinely associate with heads of state. This proximity to power is often twisted into accusations of "abusing influence." But proximity is not guilt. Friendship is not corruption. 2. His family, his choices not a public debate. Too many have overstepped by interfering in Sir Wicknell’s relationship with his ex-wife’s family. He is, first and foremost, a father. And like any father, he knows what is best for his own children and household. Unsolicited advice aimed at belittling him serves no purpose other than malice. Respect a man’s role as a parent, even if you disagree with his personal life. 3. Corruption allegations? ZACC has already spoken. The Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC) has clarified that allegations against Sir Wicknell are baseless. Furthermore, the President himself has stated clearly: if anyone has been defrauded or has legitimate grievances, they know exactly where to report. No such reports have been substantiated. What remains is jealousy plain and simple. Sir Wicknell has risen higher than his critics can stomach, so they attempt to pull him down with lies. 4. His heart of giving sets him apart. There are many millionaires and billionaires in the world. But few have the genuine, sacrificial heart of giving that Sir Wicknell possesses. He gives not for clout, but because he sees every person as family. Hate him if you wish but you cannot deny the cars, the homes, the school fees, the medical bills, and the countless lives he has transformed. That level of philanthropy is only possible when giving comes from the soul. “Many rich people cannot share a cent with a stranger. That is what differentiates Sir Wicknell he sees everyone as family.” 5. Don’t fight a man who isn’t fighting back. Sir Wicknell does not have the time or energy to hate anyone. Yet grown men spend their days on social media attacking him. Let that sink in. You cannot win a battle against someone who refuses to engage in your war. He is focused on legacy, family, business, and lifting others. Perhaps his critics should ask themselves: What have you built? What have you given? Sir Wicknell Chivhayo is not perfect no human is. But he is not the monster his detractors have painted. He is a father, a philanthropist, a businessman, and a man of faith who has chosen to rise above the noise. You may not like his style, but you cannot question his results or his heart. 🇿🇼 Stand with truth. Stand with grace. Stand with Sir Wicknell. @wicknellchivayo HAPPY SABBATH 🙏🙏CHOKWADi CHANGU HACHIPUTSi HUKAMA MUSANDIPA DIVi

The last two weeks have exposed that the rich people around the President or his Parallel Cabinet -especial Chivayo and Tagwirei- lack of political maturity, sophistication and situational awareness. This is why they have made huge geopolitical blunders like trying to use Ramaphosa to endorse their political missteps and orchestrating the arrest of the mother of Wicknell’s children and her mother in law. These two errors were political suicide and taboo in our culture. Money has made these guys arrogant and lose their sense of judgement and there will be spiritual consequences for their arrogance.

Yesterday on channel Africa I spoke about how as a person under investigation for crimes like fraud in South Africa, Wicknell Chivayo poses a threat to Cyril Ramaphosa’s legacy and tenure. It’s critical for Ramaphosa to distance himself from Chivayo and the parallel cabinet of President Mnangagwa.

In a world where many successful people only think about themselves, Wicknell Chivayo continues to show the importance of giving back and uplifting others. You may not agree with everything, but you cannot ignore the number of lives he continues to touch through generosity. Proverbs 11:25 says, A generous person will prosper, whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.... Real success is not just about making money, but about using your blessings to bring joy and opportunities to others. Respect where it is due. @wicknellchivayo
