@sfcdan_ I am guessing its too late for this kind of change in playoff structure. if it was just after 1st leg i think there can be case made about replaying semis with Wrexham but its probablly too late. And yes i think the right solution was to award Hull with promotion

You simply either automatically promote Hull or you make Boro and Wrexham play the semi and then final You cannot give a losing team another shot at a £200m game…

@EiFSoccer If something there can be a case made about boro vs soton replaying their second leg but nothing like replaying the whole playoff will ever happen. Is it unfair for teams like wrexham in 7th... Yes but the most reasonable solution to this was and still is to hand hull promotion

Wrexham and Millwall were absolutely screwed by the Southampton spy decision. The logical decision would have been to replay the playoffs with 4 teams. If Southampton cheated, you play with 4 fresh teams. Plain and simple.

I think this Villa game has showed that there needs to be some sort of points deduction for anti competitive lineups etc Coz it’s not fair on West Ham who had to play a full strength Villa and thus lost whilst Spurs get to play a Villa team that wouldn’t look out of place in the championship

@markgoldbridge i thought u were right but actually looking at upcoming matches neither team has certainty that they r going to win 100% of their matches. Games like West Ham, Bournemouth, Fulham or even Crystal Palace arent easy. Newcastle isnt a team to underestimate so might as well take 1:0
