GR BOYS BBALL

Congratulations to three sport athlete, Brenden Sylvester, who broke the school record in the 3200 meter race while running at the Hamline Elite Track Meet. Only the top track athletes in the state get invited and he justified the invitation with a standout performance!

Two b-ball opportunities for our youth this summer. One for boys entering grades 2-9, and another for boys & girls entering K-6.

The Boys Basketball Team ended their season tonight with a close loss to Sartell in the state tournament. It was a game of runs and Sartell had the last one towards the end of the game. This is a team of great student-athletes and they had a great season. Thunderhawk Proud!

Rapids falls to DeLaSalle in a rough showing today 37-87 in the quarterfinals. Tomorrow GR takes on Sartell in the Consolation semi’s round, at Concordia St. Paul - 4pm.

Next Monday. 5pm. Come meet the state bound boys b-ball team and receive autographs and some giveaways. Let’s send them off with some cheers and a good time!

Congrats to senior Joe Sutherland and sophomore Gavin Wegwerth for receiving Lake Superior All-Conference awards. Well deserved gentlemen!

Grand Rapids advances to the section finals with a 76-42 win over Chisago Lakes.
