I would LOVE to be wrong, but a petition of names that numbers less than daily active players across all platforms is NOT ENOUGH to move the needle in any meaningful way. If your petition cant manage anywhere near that all it says is the hype isn't there (good). If it can crack into the millions necessary to even be viable within a week I'll be wrong.
