7-7 Wembanyama one night. 6-1 Brunson the next. Opposite ends of the spectrum as players both leading their teams to victory. Basketball is awesome.

St John’s Nation, I’m really excited by the job that @RealPitino, @steve_masiello, @EdKullStJohnsAD, and Tommy Ostrom have done building next year’s team as we continue taking steps toward becoming a Final Four program. I’m incredibly proud of Rick, the entire coaching staff, and the players from the last two seasons for what they accomplished. Think about this……. Who would’ve thought 5 years ago that St. John's Red Storm would become BACK-TO-BACK Big East Regular Season Champions… BACK-TO-BACK Big East Tournament Champions…
And win an NCAA Tournament game in both seasons. That’s culture.
