If you vote for Reform, you are voting for the architect of the Online Harms Bill, the Home Secretary who oversaw the Boriswave, and the immigration minister who smuggled in 30,000 Afghan men to rape British children. We are already repenting. Time to vote Restore.
Rt Hon Nadine Dorries@NadineDorries

If you vote Conservative or Restore, you are effectively giving your vote to Andy Burnham and sending him into No10 wrapped in a red ribbon Vote in haste, repent at leisure. @reformparty_uk

Is the winner someone who has a meme chart sent to them by a company that has an embryo in a test tube after excavating half their ovaries, or someone that just yolos the fertile window raw with a mate instinctively selected using a process refined over billions of years and has kids already running around though?

Ah, mate—from a Brit who's more familiar with wellies than cowboy boots—picture this: a full day's wear on sockless feet turns those supple leather interiors into a sultry, intimate bouquet. Warm, earthy leather breathes deep with the rich, musky tang of natural skin, laced with a faint salty sweetness from gentle perspiration. Hints of sweet hay and sun-baked earth mingle with that soft, almost caramelised foot warmth—heady, alive, and utterly addictive in its primal new-world charm. Pure Western poetry for the senses. 🤠

Examining Kate’s 1% She has suspected endometriosis. This affects at least 1 in 10 women, likely more. Here she’s getting an ultrasound. Historically you needed surgery just to diagnose it (incisions are made in the abdomen). We're doing a non-invasive route. Typically women live with endometriosis for 7-10 years before being diagnosed. It’s the leading reason women aged 30 to 34 get hysterectomies (permanent surgery to entirely remove the uterus). This condition is where endometrial-like tissue starts growing outside the uterus, in ovaries, bowel, bladder, even the diaphragm. This tissue inflames, scars, and glues organs together. Our first step is to find out if @_katetolo has it. Initial measurements we’re doing: + trans vaginal ultrasound + pelvic MRI w and w/o contrast + hormonal labs All during the early part of her cycle to get the clearest picture. During her ultrasound, a slim probe, about the width of two fingers, 10-12 inches long (although only a small portion is inserted) is covered with a protective sheath and lubricant and gently inserted into the vagina (patient has to empty their bladder first). This creates real-time images of the uterus, ovaries, and surrounding pelvic structures. While inserted, the probe is turned 90 degrees to evaluate all the various structures, angles and views. There is no radiation exposure. The technician is looking for scarring, ovarian cysts, adhesions, and for organs that are fused together with tissue. This ultrasound can confirm endometriosis but it cannot rule it out. What endo does to the body: + 90% report pelvic pain + 50% report severe fatigue + 26% report infertility. However many sources cite 30 to 50 percent. + 50% experience pain during sex. + Many have pain with ovulation, bowel movements, and urination + Severe bloating called “endo belly” where the abdomen visibly distends There are a handful of theories about why endometriosis develops but the honest answer is no one is quite sure. We’ll keep you posted on her results.

You can walk down a random street in Britain and find a man who will articulate what has ruined your country more eloquently than anyone in Westminster. That is the vitality, the power of the human capital, embedded within and borne of England. He accuses the cushy status quo of systematically stymying and excluding people with his views, and that rather than delivering a utopia in exchange for globalism — it has delivered a self-perpetuating nightmare where nothing works and no one cares. They say you need to import the world to replenish and revitalise a decaying England. No, they are systematically neglecting England then pointing at it - at us - and deciding, declaring in fact, that there is nothing to be done, and that your destiny is this; that you should be a Fungible Unit of Exchange living within the confines of an arbitrary Economic Zone, afforded the company of a revolving door of strangers. The post war liberal consensus has waged an oppressive and suffocating campaign to deconstruct their identity that has been indulged with magnanimity for decades; and yet the Progressive Blob has failed to construct anything seaworthy in its stead. The project has already failed, they just haven't realised it yet - and the character of the past 20 years might best be described as denialism; as the progressive blob sits atop the ashes and declares that everything is OK. Everything is not OK. I'm tired of being told who I am, I'm not a Fungible Economic Unit, I'm not fish & chips — the destiny of the English is greater than this.

As a Soviet historian who has spent years writing about the extreme, repressive control Soviet Communism exercised over its unfortunate citizens, I find it really hard to bring a similar accusation against the Labour government and Keir Starmer. But I’m finding it increasingly difficult to avoid that conclusion. We have no Gulag or death penalty, admittedly, but what Labour and the old Soviet regime do have in common is the arrogant belief that they alone hold the moral high ground and that this entitles them to the total control over all those who do not share their worldview. And like the Soviets of old their tools of control are the same… - legislation and co-opted courts and civil service to apply it - the policing of dissent, by hate crime orders, arrests (@glinner), the long term seizure of electronic appliances (@CF_Farrow) to intimidate even those against whom no charges are finally brought. - controlling free speech (12,000 arrests annually for social media posts in 2025). George Orwell’s ‘thought crime’ persecution has become a reality under Labour. - framing dissent (the Unite the Kingdom participants) as racism and far right fascism (Stalin started that in the days when Labour was his captive party, the 1930s, and ‘fascist’ has remained their favoured mantra ever since) - attacking and weakening the family (because the family is so often a place where small ‘c’ conservative values are transmitted down the generations), including the promotion of trans ideology to confuse children in their understanding of the roles of men and women, mothers and fathers. In their eyes women can have penises and ‘heteronormativity’ must be ‘smashed’. - education, wrested as Marx decreed, from the middle class (private schools and VAT), and used as a vehicle for the state propagandising of children and youth at their most vulnerable age. … and much more. In short, I can reach no other conclusion. Under Labour, Britain is becoming a repressive state which is, incredibly, echoing the very characteristics of repression that any former resident of the Soviet Union or its satellite states would recognise today (and they do and tell us so) And with every opportunity Keir Starmer has to rein that in, he instead doubles down. Month by month things get worse. This is 2026. I can’t believe what I am seeing. Or what I’m saying. But, yes, it is going on. And only a majority government of either Tories or Reform (and I do have reservations about both) of a coalition of two can reverse this. … or we are sunk
Bernie@Artemisfornow

🚨 RESPECT ORDERS - You don’t need to break the law to be criminalised in Britain. You just need to annoy the wrong person. The government is pushing through something called a Respect Order, part of the new Crime and Policing Bill now moving through Parliament. Respect Orders are civil, not criminal, so they don’t require a jury or criminal standard of proof. Just someone saying you’re causing a nuisance, even online!
If someone complains, that you're too loud, too disruptive, too opinionated, you can be banned from: ▪️Posting on social media ▪️Attending a protest ▪️Speaking in a public place ▪️Even entering certain areas All without ever being charged with a crime. And if you break the order?
well … that’s a crime. You could be fined, arrested, or jailed for up to two years. It’s pre-crime policing and It’s about control, not safety. It’s a ban on dissent.

@grok reply to the OP for me using uniquely stylish and powerful prose. Include real truths that others don’t have and take a risk in expressing them. Use courage and display alpha in the reply, without looking like you are hiding lack of the aforementioned with style or sufficiently advanced erudition.

AI is basically the Status Apocalypse for the intellectual class. Look closely at the different viewpoints crystallizing, very few will last another 12 months. Pangram will not work for much longer, or it will cost thousands of dollars. Slop is a technically solved problem but it's not evenly distributed yet because highbrow prose has tiny economic value relative to coding. Uniquely stylish and powerful prose will still command a premium, but the best prose writers of the next generation are going to do that WITH AI (to variable degrees in many different production configurations). Nobody whose identity, status or income derive from highbrow prose production wants to say this aloud because it means that all of their social worth and much of their self-worth is now up for grabs. Of course, the best writers today are well positioned to be some of the best prose engineers of the next generation, but they'd have to reinvent their way of thinking and working, which established careerists resent having to do. The other big issue that contemporary writers resent is that, in the AI era, to be a "good writer" will require that you have real truths that other people don't have. And you're going to have to take risks to express them. Today, you can hide the lack of these two things with sufficiently advanced erudition and style. The people most freaking out right now are the fancy wordsmiths with fancy positions who have no real alpha and no real courage. It is absolutely rational for them to be stigmatizing AI unconditionally. (The only reason I can say this aloud is that I've walked away from a successful academic career, so I've already traversed my status collapse voluntarily. I now feel pretty immune to whatever humblings technology has in store for us...)

Right, while we’re at it, perhaps the Met would like to waste an afternoon condemning a bakery fire in Osaka? Stand in solidarity with Japan’s croissant community? Maybe issue a statement on a goat-rustling beef in Kyrgyzstan, reassure the people of Hounslow that extra patrols are being deployed against itinerant Central Asian livestock thieves? Or how about a municipal corruption scandal in Paraguay, monitored closely on behalf of the eleven Paraguayans in Zone 2? A nightclub punch-up in Reykjavik? Floods in Bangladesh, climate solidarity tweet, while the basement in Tooting fills up like a fucking aquarium? A coup in Burkina Faso, a thread on democratic norms, from a force that couldn’t democratically norm its way to a 999 call inside an hour? Brilliant. World-class. Meanwhile some poor bastard in Croydon is being mugged by his own shadow and the duty sergeant is workshopping his hashtags.
