@MacticsG1 Oh that's fine in that case. They are trying to build an MMO on a game that was never meant to be one. Yep led D2 so the full proper Destiny MMO can be born, proper build crafting, more than 2 abilities per slot per subclass, bring back shared locations and bigger open areas

to clarify this isnt about the "let destiny 2 die so we can move on to destiny 3" gang, i think that has real and valid considerations this is directed at the people that think the entire destiny franchise should die just because they have personally moved on.

"Let destiny die" is such a weird mindset to have in my opinion. People still like it and want reasons to continue playing it. Just because you dont vibe with it anymore doesn't mean that other people have to move on from it too. Liking a game shouldn't have an expiration date.

They started taking on the MMO branding back in 2019, but the issue is the game wasn't built on that, so now they introduce stuff, then try and correct that stuff in the next release. Just cut off D2, make a destiny MMO proper

Bungie has put too much resources in Destiny for too long imo. The first Destiny was great and they should’ve never made a sequel. Just keep the first game going as is and move on to something else sooner. Here’s hoping they aren’t hollowed out because they make great feeling FPS gameplay.

Since the second this acquisition was announced, I said it was a horrible move and it would blow up in Sony's face. As I noted at the time, inorganic growth simply doesn't work for PlayStation; Firewalk, Haven, and Neon Koi are all recent proof. And Bungie easily takes the cake.

@reika_not71588 @NaughtyDogInfo For. Third person shooter that didn't particularly need it, the dodge and melee in TLoU2 felt great. I love how connected to the environment you felt, I hate when the character feels disconnected from the ground. Really interested to see what they can do with a melee focus game

@NaughtyDogInfo After how fun the melee was in TLOU2 I'm excited to see what happens when they're working on a new IP. it's been a while, but something that isn't uncharted or TLOU from a company this reliable is good enough for me. I have high hopes! but of course no pre-orders.

@aidenppearce @PaulTassi I'm one of TLOU2s biggest shooters and I'll be the first, it's crucial to abbys story she's built like a tank. Both leads are miscast in the sense that the physical presence of both characters is really important to the second game and despite being good actors they don't have it
