Takeaway from FAMU’s Spring Game:
1) THIS DEFENSE WILL WIN US GAMES!
2) Defensive front is the best position group.
3) Oline is solid.
4) RB’s can either run through you or by you. They'll let you decide.
5) WR #4 Maliek Denmark is our next go to guy. A&M will need to feed him.

That secondary is the BEST in the country!! #RollTide
The Millers’ Edge@TheMillersEdge
Projected 2026 Alabama Defensive Starters (BASE) Thoughts?
English

@Kbeezy224 @TheMillersEdge I'm not ...just an experience & production thing for me on this one

Definitely believe in Lawson at the next level, but if you watched him in 2025 - it’s easy to see why he’s likely a day 2 guy.
Super talented and potential-packed LB, but overall (not even considering his health) he can be a tackling liability at times, especially in space. Something I’m sure he’s working on as he preps for the next level. This may be due to his frame. He’s undersized for an NFL ILB at 226 lbs.
Still Lawson could end up being a steal in the long run. He’s got speed and high IQ. Could certainly play with more aggression, but makes up for that in his leadership.
SleeperCFB@SleeperCFB
Alabama LB Deontae Lawson needs to be talked about more in the 2026 NFL Draft Lawson at Alabama: - 274 Total Tackles (137 Solo) - 6.5 Sacks - 3 Forced Fumbles - 1 Interception Lawson was getting 1st Round looks earlier this year and is still an outstanding prospect 👀

@Gerald400m @kjcarson @unclelukereal1 They earned there keep the moment a university decided they were worth 100, 200, 300, to millions of dollars from what they did in highschool or in college the previous year
English

My message to Nick Saban and everyone who sat at that roundtable: while the country is dealing with war and Americans are dying, you’re in a room trying to figure out how to limit what college athletes can earn from their own Name, Image and Likeness. Stop pretending it’s about protecting the game. It’s about protecting the system.
English

@unclelukereal1 Also, open it up to your profession KC.....it's kids who do what you do....let them NIL what you do so everybody can win....if we're caring about ALL KIDS LUKE
English

@kjcarson @unclelukereal1 I got my degree as I played football...shopped my resume to teams and got Hired as an employee (Coach)of the school. So, my money/dollars is my salary. These kids haven't proven or earned the right to be compared to any Coach. Cap this money and earn your keep. Remain Grateful
English

@unclelukereal1 This all about removing the player from the negotiation, the money won’t disappear..just “re-allotted “..which is racketeering. Coach gets paid $8M a year as a university employee and doesn’t teach a single class? A player must attend class..and not get a check like coach does?😂
English

@breakfastclubam College athletics isn't a profession....but if you're gonna make it such, put parameters on it

🚨 @jalenvseverybody breaks down the type of people who have issues with players having NIL deals and explains the benefits players gained from being able to profit off their images and likenesses.

Offseason Outlook for #Alabama
Next up, the inside linebackers.
- Who's leaving?
- Who's returning?
- Who's coming in?
- Biggest pre-spring question
