Just finished watching this absolutely brilliant film on Netflix. A misogynistic man wakes up in an alternate reality, where women have it easy and men are objectified, harassed, suppressed, denied opportunities, called "too emotional" and asked to "just relax". Pure cinema.

Meat eating Hindus will eat halal to accommodate their Muslim friends but will shit on vegetarian Hindus for even having dietary preferences

people need better treatment for endometriosis. we are living with this condition that puts us in a state of paralysis, in unmanageable pain, and almost as if your body will explode. these symptoms go undiagnosed because there isn’t much research in tier 2/3 cities

Is your iron supplement actually working or just causing constipation? Most people take iron the wrong way. If you want to raise Ferritin (and help conditions like anaemia & RLS), here is what actually works: 1. Skip daily dosing Oral iron raises hepcidin (that blocks absorption) for about 24 hours. So, take iron on alternate days for better absorption & fewer side effects. 2. Timing matters (a little) Iron is absorbed slightly better in the morning. But spacing doses is more important than timing. 3. Is Vitamin C needed along with Iron? It is optional. Vitamin C can improve iron absorption chemically, but trials show no major clinical benefit. So, don’t overthink it. 4. Avoid the “Big Three” ❌Tea ❌Coffee ❌Milk Avoid these within 1–2 hours of iron as they could block absorption. ▶️Note: If ferritin is not rising despite taking iron supplements, think beyond absorption. @PPuzhu You should. We went last October. We skipped the juice & sharbath shops due lack of parking space. We planned to do Kannur+Calicut but Calicut alone takes 3-4 days.

How come brown and black people in western nations are called immigrants, but white people in Dubai are called expats? Haven't come across a single instance so far where the terms are reversed.

Mallus when I speak to them in Malayalam. In my undergrad when on a bus in Kochi I asked for the ticket in Malayalam and the conductor switched to English. That was in the 1990s. It hasn't stopped. Every time I speak in Malayalam in Kerala, they switch to English for me 🤦🏻
