Led by School Council, starting from today, until October, our children will be watering the trees once a week and local residents will take over during the holiday periods! School council will also be providing the school with ‘treesources,’ @STfLLondon 🌳🌲🌳

As part of #BlackHistoryMonth we welcomed @bigfootarts for a Carnival of Heroes Assembly & Worshop. Spirit was separated from The Notting Hill Carnival only to re-appear in the school hall! From here a celebration & contemplation ensued – that of black role models past present.

The Gordonbrock School community is dusting off their red clothes ready for Friday when we will turn the school red in support of Show Racism The Red Card Wear Red Day 2021.

As part of our their Toys and Inventors topic Year 1 had a visitor from Pollock’s Toy Museum. They were shown different toys including a teddy bear, a train set and doll that was over 140 years old! They had lots of fun playing with the toys and finding out about how they worked.
