Today's young men are mad they can't afford to door dash Chipotle everyday 😔
Echoes of War@EchoesofWarYT

The first man to vote for American independence wasn't Jefferson, Adams, or Franklin. It was a country doctor from New Hampshire named Josiah Bartlett. And his story is wilder than anything they teach you in school. In 1753, at age 23, Bartlett caught a fever his own doctor said would kill him. The accepted treatment was a "warm and stimulating regimen." Bartlett didn't buy it. He ordered two young men in the room to pour him cider, half a teacup at a time, through the night. They thought it would finish him off. Instead he sweated the fever out by morning and lived another 42 years. He never trusted received wisdom again. A year later, a throat distemper epidemic was killing the children of Kingston, NH. Bartlett experimented until he found that Peruvian bark, which we now know contains quinine, could hold the disease at bay long enough for kids to recover. He was one of the first physicians in the colonies to inoculate against smallpox, at a time when mobs in other colonies were burning down doctors' houses for doing exactly that. His own house burned down too. Early 1774. Loyalist spies, almost certainly, after he refused to be bought off by the royal governor. He rebuilt it the same year. That house is still standing in Kingston, a National Historic Landmark. On July 2, 1776, the Continental Congress called the roll on independence, north to south. New Hampshire was first. Bartlett rose and voted "Aye," the first vote ever cast for an independent United States. A witness said he "made the rafters echo with his approval." A month later he became the second man to sign the Declaration, right under John Hancock's signature. Then he went home, helped write New Hampshire's constitution, served as the state's first governor, and founded the New Hampshire Medical Society in 1791. Three of his children and seven of his grandchildren became doctors. The town of Bartlett, NH bears his name. And 200+ years later, Aaron Sorkin liked his name so much he made him president on The West Wing. History remembers Hancock's signature. It should remember the man who signed right below it.

@Empty_America I bought a 1990 John Deere mower, single owner with 600hrs, for $1500. Then I learned it was 4k in 1990 🫪 lots of great deals today on very tough older tech that's way underpriced to its modern equivalent, better built and does the same thing.

The type of trucks I buy and drive have NOT gotten more expensive over time. The $5K truck I bought recently is if anything better than a $2,500 truck was in 1998. Everyone looks at prices on collector models, but basic single cab pickups are cheap, inflation adjusted.

I was informed that ‘MAGA is Dead’ by the retard Right… Yet Tonight, Thomas Massie was defeated in a landslide by his Trump +40 district. Impeachment Bill Cassidy was humiliated in Louisiana and didn’t even make the runoff. 5 impeachment GOP Senators LOST. 10 of 10 House Republicans who voted to impeach Trump LOST Indiana State Senators LOST in a bloodbath. Trump has a 95% endorsement victory rate. While the Bush, Cheney, Romney, Pence, McCain dynasties are dead. MAGA is alive and well. So great political takes guys… Now put the fries in the bag.

I mean what do pro-Israel people even say to this stuff? How do you defend the fact that America's largest PAC is an interest group for a foreign country? How do you defend their spending record amounts on unseating a politician who votes against giving money to that country? I genuinely do not understand how anyone who loves America and wants to see this country thrive and succeed could be in favor of this stuff. And why wouldn't you want to see Citizens United get overturned? I'm seriously asking because I do not understand.
Nicholas J. Fuentes@NickJFuentes

If you vote against foreign aid to Israel and call out AIPAC, then the Jewish lobby will spend $20 million to primary you, get the President to endorse your opponent, and destroy your reputation with a phony scandal. If Massie loses tomorrow, you know Israel still owns Congress.

If @MassieforKY wins tomorrow, he will become more influential than ever for overcoming everything that was thrown against him. If he does not prevail, then he will remain a folk hero of the people as the entire national GOP crashes and burns in the November midterm elections.

This term, Massie has voted with the GOP 77.7% of the time. That rate is much lower than the median GOP congressman, who voted with the party 95% of the time. Massie's rate of voting with the Republicans is also lower than his own record in the last term (91%), which itself was lower than the term before that (95%). You can like Massie. You can think he's right to buck the party. But you can't deny the trend, and you can't deny the VP's observation. t.co/xSFtLEwO4P

@Peakgrabber @ClassicLearner Soak some old tee shirts, cotton, natural fibers with Permethrin. Let them dry. Leave them in nice dry places for rodents to tear up and use for nesting. Rodents carry the little nymph ticks like crazy, and it's where the ticks get Lyme. Bedtime for mouse is Armegeddon for tick.

@misfitpatriot_ See the problem is, the Party is WRONG every time and Massie is the only one who calls out why. They need him buried so they can continue growing government, selling out the public, growing the surveillance state, trouncing the Constitution and making dirty back room deals.

I've been praying the past few weeks. Unsure why. There's good evidence behind prayer. It mimics breathwork, calming the nervous system, dropping cortisol, and quieting the brain. Daily prayers show lower depression, anxiety, and pain. I'd like to develop a prayer practice. Growing up, the protocol was written for me. Explaining whom to pray to, the structure of the prayer, and the boundary conditions. I don't really know how to pray now.

Where are all the old-school Earth First types? Why is nobody out there pulling up survey stakes, chaining themselves to bulldozers and such? For those who don't know, NYS started a thing called "ORES," or "Office of Renewable Energy Siting," which bypasses all local control and lets any developer come in and build a 2MW+ solar project ANYWHERE. Local governments and agencies have zero recourse -- ORES can decide what's allowed and where, period. It's essentially a Soviet-style central planning system. Apparently, they're even able to bypass the Adirondack Park Agency, thereby flouting article 14 of the NYS Constitution (the "forever wild" amendment). They're 100% violating the constitution of the state of New York here in the Adirondack Park and are, I guess, just assuming they'll deal with the lawsuits later -- after the developers cash their checks. When these sons of bitches are coming even for the Adirondacks, we have a massive problem. NYS is a hellscape on a level most cannot comprehend. This is a dress rehearsal for what is coming down the pike for the rest of the USA, mark my words. It's a David and Goliath situation.
katie wright@katiewr31413491

This makes me sick. This is the gorgeous Saranac Lake region in Adirondacks. NY is literally cutting down a forest for these hideous solar panels. 🔥🔥🔥 Responsible: @NYSDEC #MichelleMarchello @Bobby4Brooklyn @NYSenPeteHarckham @NYSenMichelleHinchey #PedroAzagra #MelinaAcevedo
