चमोली जिले के बिरही क्षेत्र में जंगल की आग ने एक परिवार की खुशियां छीन लीं। आग बुझाने गए ज्योतिर्मठ ब्लॉक के पाखी गांव निवासी 43 वर्षीय राजेंद्र सिंह की दर्दनाक मौत हो गई। बताया जा रहा है कि जंगल में लगी भीषण आग तेज हवाओं के कारण तेजी से फैल रही थी और आबादी क्षेत्र की ओर बढ़ने लगी थी। ग्रामीण आग पर काबू पाने के लिए मौके पर पहुंचे, लेकिन इसी दौरान राजेंद्र सिंह आग और धुएं की चपेट में आ गए। ग्रामीणों ने उन्हें बचाने की कोशिश की, मगर तब तक वह गंभीर रूप से झुलस चुके थे। घटना के बाद पूरे गांव में शोक का माहौल है। परिजनों और ग्रामीणों ने वन विभाग व प्रशासन पर लापरवाही के आरोप लगाते हुए पीड़ित परिवार को आर्थिक सहायता और सरकारी नौकरी देने की मांग की है। पुलिस और प्रशासन ने मामले की जांच शुरू कर दी है।

What else could one possibly expect? Any temple where deities aren't worshipped in the proper manner inevitably falls under the rakshasa and Yakshas. Khatu Shyam isn't Hindu deity; if he is Barbarika, he belongs to yaksha category. So, duffer hindu are worshipping him incorrectly

@negi_frm_hills Apparently it's a desi ritual from braj mathura vrindavan area of draping Yamuna with a saree called "Chunri Manorath". Yaha Yamunotri mei Aisa koi ritual nhi tha kabhi, ab yeh saare upar ake bhi wahi harkate kar rhe hai
