Oregon fans complaining about where the Big Ten Baseball Tournament is like the last year of the Pac-12 didn't see a total of 12,438 people attend the event. The Big Ten Championship that year had 13,300 by itself.

Nebraska fan "torture" is mostly self inflicted with their own media hype and unrealistic expectations. Oregon State football beat Oregon in 2022 in a 10 win season just to get abandoned and relegated to the Mountain West shortly after. Now that's torture

@EricJHovland They’ve tried many location for the big ten tournament and it fails. Then they came here and the attendance boomed. Everyone can blame it on Nebraska fans but the conference will make more money having it in omaha than anywhere else in the country.

@HailVarsity5x The PNW is pretty dry this time in May, unlike Omaha nearly every season. Plus, the only games that have any attendance are once involving Nebraska since they're the home team every game there.

@W_B_Rick For years when the SEC was winning we were told the “gauntlet” they had to go through was a reason why they were winning. Now they are losing and it’s the reason they’re losing. They just fit whatever narrative they want.

He’s getting cooked but I agree with Coach Kiffin here. I think a rested, healthy SEC team would’ve really made a difference against the national champs at Indiana last year. They probably lose by 4 possessions instead of 5. They might have even scored one (1) touchdown.

Being a Blue Blood in College Football is about having a program that transcends moments in time and current performance, to the point where it is viewed as one of the sports permanent powers. Nebraska is a regional program that has become all but permanently irrelevant in terms of the national landscape. They haven’t won a bowl game of any magnitude in 25 years. They can’t recruit. They aren’t revered. The best they can do is cry poor like Illinois. Huskers: Show me a sign of life by 2030 or your blue blood card is revoked.

@5thDownCFB Should’ve been settled on the field. Nebraska would’ve gladly played them and Michigan in ‘97.

1994 is the most egregious non-split national championship in CFB history The sport wasn't strong enough to destroy its BOWL COALITION, created three years earlier + there was a measure of punishment for the Big Ten/Pac-10 not joining & staying w/the Rose Bowl

@KendallRogers Gotcha. Definitely not expecting it but I wasn’t sure if there was a path for them to pull it off.

RPI is there but Nebraska would be a very tough sell for a Top 8 for me. 1-2 in two most important non conf weekends, 1 marquee league series win. I like them as a host -- but certainly not as a T8.

1. If you grew up in the 90’s I get it. It was a great era. But the sport is completely unrecognizable now. Life before cell phones was great too. Doesn’t mean we should go backwards.
