@RyanSAdams Terra was only the most egregious DeFi facade - but not the only one. Anyone earning yield on any defi protocol should understand where that yield comes from and ensure it’s from a sustainable revenue on source. Not from leverage and not from marketing budgets.

I was one of the first validators on Cosmos. The validator set was cartelized from launch. Insiders, employees, whales. Less than 10 controlled the network. Every Cosmos style dPoS system ends up like this. Terra has the same design. I struggle calling this DeFi.

@RyanSAdams Decentralized algo based stable coins are really just decentralized banks. Take deposits and invest them to make a profit. Could you imagine if your cash deposits at Wells Fargo were invested primarily in bitcoin/crypto? This is much worse than what the banks did in 2008
