The emergency med bike commute cliché is real, I got complimented on my ortlieb cycling bag by an A+E consultant on a trauma course today - I think this means they've accepted me as one of their own

Today in NHS land the lift decided to go down instead of up then break down entirely - had to abandon our trolley and carry a precariously large stack of breast implants up 3 floors to theatre like a cartoonish silicone pizza delivery service

16 months later and in a different city than planned, I ran a marathon today! And what a beautiful day for it, atmosphere was incredible, I was smiling (almost) the whole way @Marathon_Mcr
