Lifestyle changes will affect your immune system which will determine how well you fight off the virus when you come in contact with it. Lifestyle changes will also keep you healthier which will make it so that you don't get as sick when you do get sick or the sickness won't have as much of an impact on you. Do you believe that someone who's super unhealthy and overweight is going to be affected by a virus the same way as someone who's super healthy?

@HasanIQtest @Yeab_sera21 @simonmaechling Also, lifestyle changes don't do shit against contagious viruses. Ebola doesn't care how healthy you were before you caught it, it will kill you without medicine. Are you possibly an RFK Jr fan? The guy that denies germ theory?

Science is hard. You have to prove it, test it, and reproduce the results. Pseudoscience is easy. Make it up. Add fear. Watch it spread.

Completely agree that the elites on the left aren't using suicidal empathy, they're manipulating their base with it. Their base and the people that control them are very different. The base is getting COMPLETELY conned. But is Saad even arguing that the elites are using suicidal empathy? I thought he was talking about the base, not the elites.

Oh, I personally agree that suicidal empathy is a real problem. I just also agree with the article author that Saad does a really poor job of arguing about the concept. The rich and the powerful do not engage in suicidal empathy. They would never do anything that would risk *their* well-being. Suicidal empathy exists exclusively as a mind virus inflicted on the middle class to keep them subjugated.

@HasanIQtest @simonmaechling Though I do believe there will come a time when the pieces of the puzzle are so filled in and distinguishable that people will legitimately deduce it (like wheel of fortune). In the meantime, people will guess at it and not even match all observations (like letters in WoF).

Science is always open to new evidence. But science does not throw away strong conclusions every time someone has a suspicion, anecdote, or viral post. A well-established scientific result only changes when there is stronger evidence against it.

@HasanIQtest @simonmaechling Agreed. And modern science loves to slap explanations on that data that don't get treated with the same scrutiny as any potential replacement explanations. Its like the person documenting an observation is assumed to be the person(s) most fit to explain why the data occurred.

Cancel culture is free speech. If you want a totally unregulated marketplace of ideas, then of course speech cancellation monopolies and other such bad actors will just take over the whole thing. Why wouldn’t they?

I will die on the hill that the IDW began as an anti-free speech movement that in fact sought informal speech regulations against progressive excesses, and later morphed into more of a pro-free speech movement where everyone could spout whatever conspiracy theory they wanted.

The most dangerous virus right now isn’t biological. It’s the belief that expertise itself is oppression. So when science tries to reduce suffering or prevent deaths, people call it tyranny. A society that treats public health as the enemy stops protecting itself from reality.

One of the strangest things about Alpha-gal syndrome is how many people probably spent years confused about what was happening to their body. Imagine eating the same foods your entire life… then suddenly getting sick for seemingly no reason, going from doctor to doctor without answers. 💀

By vaccinating you put others in danger. You accept the complete corruption of science, clinical trials and service medicine and you promote and condone a grotesque medical scam run by Pharma-occupied institutions and Pharma-captured governments, which kills and maims without any benefit to the subjects. It is morally wrong to vaccinate.

The "Scientific Consensus" is a religion
Ya you really do need the philosophical piece, otherwise you have no idea what the data you're gathering even means, or how significant it is, how it fits into everything else, etc. It's just data in a vacuum. Like one of the biggest problems I notice is that, when a study is done, that data is automatically given more significance than all of the other data that hasn't been discovered yet. For example, let's say studies come out showing that eating too many carrots causes some illness. Well what may be the case (and often is the case) is that if you were to run the same kind of studies on the other vegetables they would all cause illness. So there was nothing special about carrots. You can picture all of the universe as like this giant undiscovered sea of information. When we discover little pieces of it, those pieces don't suddenly become more important than the rest just because we figured them out.

Whenever there is money to be made, that's usually when I get skeptical of the "science." Our capitalist system basically looks for solutions to problems using "products" instead of lifestyle changes. So to name a few, it would be a lot of the pharmaceuticals (pills), covid vaccine, etc.
