@brentlajeunesse Hitting 225 and 245 like you are, I think you could get in the 300s with a spotter easily. I know for me I had to leave my comfort zone to ask, but it’s a game changer.

Brent LaJeunesse 💯
Brent LaJeunesse 💯@brentlajeunesse·
Okay so dropped the weight last week and did a couple days of high rep 20+ at 185 to get the feel back. This week bumped back to 225 lbs for 10 - 8 - 6 and 6. Probably would have had more in the tank with a spotter. Confident I’ll crush 245 next week. Pulled the video back since a lot of you asked about foot placement and my back arch so hopefully you can see it better here. Any tips would be helpful. Thanks team! Stay Savage!

💪 Bench Press Check-In Video: 245 for 4 today. Last time I hit 6. Been stuck on this weight for way too long. Took some time off the barbell, hit the Smith machine chasing heavier numbers thinking it would carry over. Epic fail, I came back weaker. I know someone’s been here. What finally broke you through a stubborn plateau? Drop your best advice below 👇 I’m ready to adjust and keep pushing. Live Savage — B

I’m a firm believer that being able to do pull-ups is way more important than any lift. IMHO. Strength is being able to lift yourself off the ground when needed

Lost 30 lbs in the last 5 months. ~1.5 lbs/week average. A few observations: -> The halo effect is real. People treat you better when you look better. -> The discipline around tracking calories, staying consistent in the gym, and keeping a routine bleeds into everything else. I’ve had more success at work in the last 5 months than I had in a long time before that. -> You start to realize the “norm” is to be unhealthy. You become aware of how much societal pressure there is to drink alcohol and eat garbage food, and how oversized most portions actually are. -> If you work a 9-5, you realize how hard it is to live an active lifestyle in this modern age. Employers do not care about your health and wellbeing. -> People will celebrate your early wins, but the closer you get to a truly athletic BF% (10-12%), the more they show signs of jealousy and start making excuses to discredit your results. The better you look, the more people will want to attribute your success to PEDs to make themselves feel better. -> There’s a massive amount of misinformation online. And a surplus of people with zero track record of success or authority eager to tell you what you’re doing is wrong. Usually hiding behind anonymous profiles. Overall, you know what’s best for you. I have made the decision to only take advice from medical professionals and people that have more experience than myself in certain areas of fitness/health I am interested in.

32. DMX "Earl Simmons' gravelly voice was a mirror for his tortured soul, with a matching delivery stretching and contorting to meet the occasion. Debuting with two No. 1 albums in the same year, DMX was a tour de force whose sheer force of will made listeners feel every syllable. From soul-baring prayers and adrenaline jolts like "Ruff Ryders’ Anthem" to the internal strife of "Damien" and posse cuts such as "4,3,2,1" and "Money, Power & Respect," his commanding vocal presence naturally drew the attention of Hollywood. Later on, his viral rendition of "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" proved his trademark intensity and gritty voice could literally transform anything. Whether it was a street anthem or a reimagined Christmas carol, X's voice was capable of so much more than what met the surface." — Eddie Fu → cons.lv/greatestvocali…
