Please join us November 14-18, as our Hoover family hosts our 2nd annual Thanksgiving food drive to support the Northeast Iowa Food Bank.

Our very own, Donna Harvey, talked to the 6th graders about her 32 years of experience as a social worker in connection with our class wide novel, Wish. Thank you Donna for sharing your knowledge with us!

6th grade students learning about financial literacy through a high interest Mad About Money performance. Thank you to the Iowa Insurance Division for this free performance!

8th graders navigated their way through a Jurassic Park escape room. Students had a set of math problems that led them to a code to unlock the next step of the journey. Jurassic themed music, décor, safari hats, and a bubble machine made this experience something to roar about!

Hoover 6th grade medical detective students are excited to demonstrate their knowledge of the parts of the brain and their functions while dissecting a sheep brain. This activity is always a highlight of their time in class.
