@YuriSizov Why not? It looks cleaner than putting a custom shader on every control and changing their transform from the vertex function (there's at least one addon on the asset lib that works this way) And you can override "has_point" which isn't possible with the shader approach 🤔

@clintochx Maybe the default cache folder doesn't exist and that's why it crashes. Try changing the default path (or create a cache folder in "addons/proton_scatter/cache" )

@HungryProton Thanks, I tried your plug-in last night, it's awesome and I love it, but scatter cache doesn't seem to work, always giving a "Cannot save file......" error. I'm using Godot 4.1

Slowly getting back into Scatter, a new update is available: + Fixes compatibility with Godot 4.2 + Mesh resources are no longer duplicated when it's not necessary + Improves ScatterCache node performance

Available on GitHub right now: github.com/HungryProton/s… And later on the Asset Library once the changes are approved. It will take a while until I can address every issue opened on GitHub, but we'll get there eventually

@ClemPixelArt Sélectionne ton noeud scatter, dans l'inspecteur, vas dans "Performance > Render mode" et choisis "Create copies". Ça va créer des copies complètes de ta scène (script et colliders inclus).
