A full weekend closure of the westbound frontage road of Loop 1604 at Agora Parkway to the northbound frontage road of I-35 at the Forum Access Road is scheduled for Friday (8/16) at 9 pm until Monday (8/19) at 5 am for striping, barrier, and pavement work. Follow detour signs.

Full weekend closure of all eastbound and westbound mainlanes and all ramps of Loop 1604 at I-35 scheduled from Friday (7/26) at 9 pm through Monday (7/29) at 5 am for installing steel girders. Traffic should follow detour signs. All mainlanes of I-35 will be open.

This is the dawn of eastbound elevated lanes of the I-35 NEX Central project near I-410 and Perrin Beitel. There will be roughly 65 columns from Perrin Beitel to the southbound lanes of I-35. That represents about 4% of the 1,500 total columns in the entire project.

An I-35 NEX Central Project sneak peek, where bridge beams over 70 feet tall tower above Austin Highway on westbound I-410 towards Perrin Beitel. Once completed, this will be the view as you descend from the southbound elevated lanes of I-35 to the westbound mainlanes of I-410.

A full 24/7 closure on westbound and eastbound mainlanes of Loop 1604 at I-35, full closure on westbound and eastbound collector ramps of Loop 1604 at I-35 for installing steel girders scheduled for Friday, 7/19 at 9 pm until Monday, 7/22, at 5 am.

North of Olympia Parkway on northbound I-35, the open drainage channel on the northbound frontage road is being filled with 280 box culverts, to create a closed drainage channel. Once they are all in place, the culverts will be paved over to create the new Evans Road exit ramp.

On the I-35 southbound frontage road near @IKEA, a construction team is removing the formwork from one of the last column caps in the area. Once bridge beams are set here later this summer, they will stretch south from McMorris Boulevard past the Shin Oak bridge.
