Some of us attack BOTH lab-grown meat from Silicon Valley and factory-farmed meat from Big Ag — because we believe a better, more humane, and more local food system is possible than BOTH of those false choices. We don’t have to accept the domination of our food supply chain and the depopulation of our rural communities by one set of faceless monopolists or another.

@DavidAstinWalsh Students are much less used to writing by hand than when bluebooks were common, so handwriting and hand fatigue are far worse. I'm not saying that means you can't do bluebook exams anymore, but it's a concern to think about. Also of course it would mean no more research papers.

Excited to announce we got a grant from the @NEHgov for "Philosophy as a Way of Life: A Humanities Approach to Becoming a 'Good' Engineer", A 3-year initiative to redesign a philosophy course required for engineering students using immersive assignments and peer-led dialogue.
