Not merely “I support my people”, but the belief that one’s ethnic group is inherently superior, historically destined to lead, and more important than others. So Chichi, tribalism did NOT lead to the downfall of this country. It is ethnic chauvinism, constant finger-pointing, and the refusal of accountability wherever it appears that has done far more damage.

They sacrificed for the peaceful coexistence of the Yoruba people, but today we have allowed the same people who once waged unprovoked wars against us to use religion to infiltrate us. Something they could not achieve in the past now seems easy because of religious affiliation.

Who exactly is gaslighting who here? You people seem to be in conflict with almost every tribe in this country. Even with tribes that have no interest in fighting, you still find ways to create problems. Look, I guess we’ll keep going back and forth on this because I’m not going to keep apologizing for something that has nothing to do with me. If anyone comes for my people, I will respond. Thank God this is only online, because the Igbo people we grew up with and still live with here in Plateau State are doing very well. We live peacefully together, and many even marry each other. Mr. Osifo Osayamen Stanley is contesting in the presidential primaries against Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a sitting President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Whether he wins or not, the mere courage and confidence to step into the ring and test his popularity within his party against an incumbent president speaks volumes. Ironically, he appears to have far more confidence and courage than the NDC’s sole presidential candidate, who is afraid to contest against anyone in a genuine primary election. Instead, he always settles for mushroom parties where he can emerge unchallenged, apparently just to massage his ego and maintain the illusion of political relevance.
