I am someone who dropped out of college and does not hold a formal degree. My career did not move at the same pace or follow the same path as everyone else’s, but I lived through it, learned from it, and I do not regret it. That said, I always encourage people to complete any unfinished degrees they may have. I dropped out of engineering not because I wanted to, but because I could not crack one math exam. I gave it multiple attempts and still failed. That was a failure, but I did not let it slow me down or define what came next. Today, I represented Frido at an MBA college placement cell, interviewing MBA aspirants. I have taken interviews in the past, but I had never been part of a formal placement process. I have also never sat for placements myself, so being on the other side of that table felt unfamiliar and a little awkward at first. As the conversations unfolded, it started to feel right. Meeting these students and hearing their aspirations was a reminder that career paths are rarely linear and that growth often comes from unexpected turns.

Sharing an update on the recovery of our services. We were able to resolve the impact to traffic flowing through our network at approximately 14:30 UTC, which was our first priority, but the incident required some additional work to fully restore our control plane (our dashboard and the APIs our customers use to configure Cloudflare). The control plane should now be fully available. We are monitoring those services and continuing to ensure that everything is fully operational. Again, we plan to share a complete walkthrough of what went wrong today in a couple of hours and how we plan to make sure this never happens again.
