He who bears tales to you certainly bears tales about you.

Someone once asked Imam Ja'far as-Sadiq (as) to show him God. The imam replied: "Look at the sun." The man replied that he could not look at the sun because it was too bright. The imam said: "If you cannot see the created, how can you expect to see the Creator?"

Hide your good deeds the same way you hide your sins.

Your souls are precious and can only be equal to the price of Paradise, therefore sell them only at that price.

The more you give, the more will get back to you

When my prayers are answered I am happy because it was my wish. When my prayers are not answered, I am even more happy because that was the wish of Allah.

The world has been named dunya as it is lower than every thing, and the Hereafter has been named Akhira as it contains recompense and reward.

One whose rule is oppressive, his regime collapses.

Kindness is a language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see.

What is meant for you, will come to you.

Allah has placed ease and comfort in Paradise but people look for it in the world and do not find it.
