The difference in germany between the political opinion on Gaza and what is actually happening to the Palestinian people is utterly insane. The majority of the german public now agrees Israel is wrong in its approach. Yet we continue to send more weapons to Israel. Till now the media has been thoroughly united in standing with Israel and dismissing any claims of war-crimes with "say no to antisemitism" and "Are they not allowed to defend themself". With cracks in those narratives just barely starting to show up after the Genocide Case in the ICJ. How our Goverment handles the situation, while watching hundreds of palestinian family trees dissappear under ruble on social media is like living in two realities at the same time. It's completely abhorrent and bizarre.
