@bigmanbets2 @padsbets He’s a pretty good ‘avg Joe’ sample that FI would be looking to incentivise to join - very keen on football and watching players progress but doesn’t want to bet. Likes the idea that his youth knowledge (likes FM) *could* make him money. I’m not allowing him to join, mind you 😂

@bigmanbets2 @padsbets My housemate is a football fan but has never bet - naturally was looking at football index before recent events because of how into it I am/was. Told him what’s happened and the new div leagues structure and he said he’d much prefer that if he were to get into it.

@SoccerCardZone @MezzalaTrader Yeah - no way of proving. But the instant bid floors and recent “rise” tell me it’s dodgy MM business/FI buying back shares in premiums deliberately to avoid future payouts. They’ve done their high price minting, now mopping up through everyone’s despair/panic. Sickening.

@FITaylor3 Completely depends on circumstance. Just upsets me seeing people piss away shares for literal pennies.

@EamonnScott The recent daily numbers/figures disagree. Please don’t see this as me being positive. I just get upset seeing folk piss away their (potentially 🤪) valuable shares for literal pennies.

@FITaylor3 Ofc and in making own decisions, there are many variables that should influence. Happiness always first. I just think regret down the line is likely for those that jump ship for fuck all out of frustration/out of stubbornness. P.s - thanks for all your name & shame work so far.

@keano_FI I joined summer ‘18 - I remember that Ryan Fraser trade as he hit the ground running for bmouth in the 2018/19 season. Sold him at £2 and was buzzing my tits off. A lifetime away from the current state of the platform.

Been absolutely inundated with DMs checking I'm ok. Trying to respond to them but been on the phone with @Otto_FI for 3 hours trying to make sense of it all. It's a sad day for the FI and I could say a lot more than that but I I won't just yet. Thanks to all who've reached out.👊

Don’t do anything rash. To those saying there is absolutely no chance you’re ever seeing any money back from FI: I’d argue against that because of the concept of the app.

Please do not see this as me being positive and please do not deposit anything. But just remember why you deposited anything in the first place. The concept. The new way to bet - this will always be there. Chance of a buyout is always there. There is always hope #footballindex

I’d advise sleeping on this and doing something for the rest of the night that helps take your mind off it. Good luck, everyone.
