He blames the destruction of the drama theater not on Russia, but on Ukraine. And also supports Russian propaganda, in particular, about "protecting local residents from NATO attacks."

In Mariupol, Chinese opera singer Wang-Fang sang Katyusha at the ruins of the drama theater in which Russia killed dozens to hundreds of people. The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry called this an example of complete moral degradation and expects an explanation from China. 😤
