the only way this gets global coverage is in polar orbit meaning up to a day could pass before landing at a specific spot, it would be faster to launch the pod on a suborbital trajectory to wherever its needed on demand, it would likely also be more fuel efficient.

@block2flaps its dyed, RP-1 is completely translucent because unlike the kerosene its refined from it lacks sulfur content and some olefins that contribute to the cloudy yellow color of most hydrocarbon fuels like gasoline/kerosene/diesel

@KissingFemboys @CodysLab i couldn't tell you exactly without testing it, but i would guess that sue to the fact gasses mix freely, combined with random motion in a small space, it would stay relatively well mixed. also helium might escape the suit due to it being monatomic and diffusing through the walls

@CodysLab leaks WILL be a problem, every spacesuit is designed with leakage in mind. anything more than 15 or so minutes you'll end up in pure oxygen. also you need to be careful using mixed gas with a co2 scrubber, it will concentrate to dangerous levels in a closed cycle.(stay safe cody)

@Infinitech_Labs For short durations (eg leaks are insignificant) the nitrogen trapped in the suit doesn't get used up so I'm not actually in pure oxygen.

not enough people are talking about what this means for building structures on mars. martian concrete requires only sulfur, martian regolith,and water, and can be made airtight. this removes the need for sulfur refining machinery for base construction on mars!
