But the question is: are we more concerned by the deaths of people on a yacht in Sicily than the deaths of people crossing the Channel because of the differential racialisation of bodies in question or the wealth (and therefore importance) associated with those bodies?

Today we tried & failed to stop a van going that we believed had someone in it 💔. Workers at DC said ‘you don’t know him why do you care’. The concept of caring for an unknown community member, wild to them.

Devastating that the month @ManchesterCoS netball made @BBCNews for its incredible value, MCoS announces that we cannot continue these sessions (& other social/active sessions) due to a lack of funding.
