America’s farmers are struggling with record-high inflation, sinking crop prices, and burdensome regulations that threaten their livelihoods and ultimately our ability to sustain our nation’s food supply and those we trade with. Despite this, the upcoming continuing resolution fails to include the essential economic reforms and natural disaster coverage many farmers need to survive the recent wave of natural disasters and worldwide flat crop prices. Without immediate relief, farmers may not be able to produce in 2025, nor even get banks to finance them. Many face the auction block sooner than many Americans would realize. Congress must prioritize these needs and deliver the support that will help agriculture stay afloat and continue to drive our economy forward and keep our food supply secure. We can do a lot in the next two years to eliminate the useless regulations that drive up costs to farmers and related businesses. With President Trumps help, and that of new Trade Representative Greer, we can crackdown on unfair foreign dumping of heavily subsidized, underpriced, inferior products that undercut ours. We must do the immediate relief we can now, to give us the time to fix those longer term trade issues.

Planting 2024 sushi rice in California will be happening soon. Giving it the groceries today with this Aqua ammonia and a liquid starter blend. Water seeding another 5 days out. 🌾

Don’t have all the horses back in the yard yet for rice planting 2023 but good to see the tillage portion come to it’s close. 3 more days for pre plant fertilizer and they will all be parked. Extremely smooth year despite the late start.

@BosworthFarms Dry seeded Prowl prior to initial flood. April Rain showers kept the soil wet so a second flush wasn’t necessary. Clincher application was made 5 days ago to take out the deep seeded water grass that came. 🙏 wait and see if we need to clean up anything else 🌾

Not as far along as I would like to see #rice that has been in the ground for 20 days of less than ideal growing weather but we are making progress. #plant22

@dessiesdaddy We just began field prep yesterday on our larger rice fields on heavy clay soils. Today we ran the 60 ac in my backyard on a lighter soil. Our operation will plant all of our rice this year using a partial allocation of surface water and ground water to supplement the shortage
