Time goes by fast when you're getting great sleep! Last challenge: When a racing mind keeps you up, focus on lengthening & slowing the breath. Count your breaths backwards from 500—it's much better than counting sheep! #NewYearBetterSleep @ConsumerReports bit.ly/3ZnlHwU

Small steps can lead to big (sleep) rewards! Tonight's small step: Adjust the thermostat to ~65 degrees, & slip under covers that breathe. Why? Zzs come more easily when the room is cool & your skin, warm. More tips @ConsumerReports: bit.ly/3ZnlHwU #NewYearBetterSleep

CR's #NewYearBetterSleep challenge starts now! Tonight's teensy task: Throw fresh sheets onto your bed. Feels dreamy, right? (Changing sheets 1x/week minimizes dust & dust mites. For more details, see @ConsumerReports’ latest guide to great sleep: bit.ly/3ZnlHwU)

Perhaps the most important use for the ever-versatile brown paper bag yet: Providing an easy way to dry and organize your respirator masks so you can safely re-wear them. Via @wirecutter nyti.ms/3KwQFv9

Most people believe hearing damage is caused by sudden, excessive sound, like loud bangs and explosions. But that’s not how most noise-induced hearing loss is caused—it’s caused by exposure to louder-than-recommended noises over a long period of time. wrctr.co/3rhSH8e
