This weekend, the @xAI team brought our Colossus 100k H100 training cluster online. From start to finish, it was done in 122 days. Colossus is the most powerful AI training system in the world. Moreover, it will double in size to 200k (50k H200s) in a few months. Excellent work by the team, Nvidia and our many partners/suppliers.

@Milkabot @bcmoffatt @indramaharjan We need to take a systems change approach. The value is there, the existing system doesn’t reward it properly. Everyone is doing what they should under current mandates. It’s not a simple process, but also not something we should shy away from due to market made challenges.

@JDogterom @bcmoffatt @indramaharjan Last I heard, at least here in Ontario, the cost to put it back into the pipeline was prohibitive to the whole matter. Most of the cost was in the fee Enbridge wanted to hook in.

And should be done in a sensible way that create jobs and ensure public health and safety

@Milkabot @bcmoffatt @indramaharjan We are on the same page... biogas that can be put in the natural gas supply or used directly in any other current natural gas related use.

@JDogterom @bcmoffatt @indramaharjan It's a great idea, but hooking to an NG pipeline is cheaper than any biogas you can create. You might have a case if you're creating a fuel that can replace diesel in NG vehicles, but that takes foresight on the part of municipalities to spec that into tenders.
