Not the histamine reactions, or the pelvic floor issues, or the sore joints occasionally. They didn’t say a word about mood swings or how important progesterone is or what it does or what happens during luteal. THAT ENDS NOW. MY DAUGHTER WILL BE PREPARED, DAMMIT. Ladies, if you have a question I have become an effing encyclopedia of women’s health over the past 3-4 months. Holy shit what a disservice. Hot flashes? Ha! The difference between moms of 3+ kids who are happy vs moms of 3+ kids who are miserable is the dad. I have 5 children, aged 6 and under. Absolutely I’m stressed, but I’m not miserable. I’m actually pretty happy on a day to day basis and that’s saying a lot as a postpartum mom. I married a champion among men. I’m living and loving my life because of him.

@Tusk_4Real A lot of people I know don’t let their kids sleepover because of men. Gladly will let them sleepover a single mom’s house, but not at a house with men. Whether it’s a son or a daughter. Says a lot of where we are right now.

I was a kid in the 90s, and by the time I was 12 I had stayed at my friends houses hundreds of nights for sleepovers. My friends stayed with me hundreds of nights for sleepovers. Video games. Making home movies. Snacks. Bewshittin'. My sons are 8 and 12 and neither of them have ever been to a sleepover. Neither of them have ever tried to get one cooking at my house. And don't get me wrong - I do NOT want other kids at my house. But I wouldn't deny my kids the opportunity to make those memories. Are sleepovers just not a thing anymore? What is going on?

The idea that "30 days builds a habit" is a joke to an ADHD brain. I can do something flawlessly every day for 3 weeks, miss exactly one day, and my brain will permanently delete the entire routine

@j_fishback @j_fishback Maybe some punishments for the parents such as no more SNAP payments, affordable housing or government assistance if their ignorant children do things like this. There needs to be consequences, otherwise they will continue to ruin this beautiful city.
