@fromsoftserve @JamesMaleedy DS3 actually tries to be a sequel, while it feels like DS2 is barely a sequel purely in spite of itself, as if the devs decided at the last minute to mark it as a sequel. Some parts of DS2's lore is honestly insulting to DS1.

Lol no joke I actually do this run for fun just to see if I can survive and so far I have like a 10% survival rate. So chaotic. but it’s also a good example of DS2’s longer enemy leash limits to deter people running past enemies like ds1 often allowed.

@Krekkov @ByHydra02 Actually, it is venom. They have a hemorrhagic venom that prevents blood clots, so they're prey just eventually bleeds out. The infected saliva is just a consequence of being carrion feeders. Vultures go through the same thing, but Komodo's actively hunt as well.

@Krekkov I try not to relate the capabilities of characters in a story to IRL people unless the story itself does that. A universe's standard of capability should only be relative to that universe, IMO. Unless of course they take to ridiculous extremes, ie Dragon Ball.
