@JAlan1966 @KodyDuncanPGH Ive just heard a lot of people say the same thing. His batting stance looks Straight out of a cartoon. His tendency is almost always if he hits the ball left field side. But I have no idea why no one has worked with him. But I’m not a huge fan of our hitting coach either.

I will admit Henry Davis is a very good defensive catcher, but if he wants to be a starter in this league, this needs to improve by a lot.

@JAlan1966 @KodyDuncanPGH Catchers don’t really prime hitting wise towards the end of their 20s and early 30s. His swing stance is genuinely atrocious he pulls everything. If he sat on it a coach and worked on rebuilding his swing mechanics I think he could be a mid tier decent hitting catcher.

@KodyDuncanPGH I know many will disagree with me, but my thinking is God gave you a certain amount of baseball talent. Some people can't hit MLB pitching. If there is a way to improve his hitting, I'd love to hear how that can be done, but his history says this is as good as he gets.

This year, obviously, a much more considerable number there.

The difference between Pitt and PSU fans is that PSU fans were frustrated and called out Drew for poor play, and will do the same if it happens for the Steelers.

I’m a Penn State fan. So I’ve watched Drew Allar VERY closely. All the talent in the world. Can make every throw. Can scramble. Just so inconsistent. Goes small in the biggest moments. But never really had elite WR’s. Maybe McCarthy can fix him? Regardless, Steelers throw a dart.
