Lesson #1 should be: Tariffs are a regressive tax paid by American businesses and consumers, not by foreign countries.

The Democratic Party should be two separate parties by now. Same with the Republicans. The country would be a lot healthier if they were.

Today is a great day to ban members of Congress from trading stocks.

Bringing some manufacturing jobs back to the U.S. is a good thing - but some of those jobs are never coming back. America’s economy is dynamic, and we need to be honest about what that really means. False hope helps no one.

Free trade is good. Free trade has always been good. Free trade is good for rich countries and it's good for poor countries. Free trade makes us richer as a society.

The American Dream wasn’t built behind trade barriers. It was built by people who outworked the competition—not outlawed it.

Capitalism = Free Trade.

You know what would work better than tariffs? Incentives to invest in the US. Deregulation. Lower taxes. Easier permitting. Lower energy costs.

We badly need a wave of competent, non-ideological people running for office at every level of government in 2026. Serious people with experience and maturity who won’t do stupid things. Back to basics. Our country needs to ditch the WWE entertainment politics. It’s killing us.

Just because other countries impose high taxes on their people does not mean the United States should impose high taxes on Americans. The United States is the economic powerhouse of the world in large part because our economy is relatively free. Don’t emulate socialist countries.

Free Trade Made America Great.

Tariffs are simply taxes. Conservatives once united against new taxes. Taxing trade will mean less trade and higher prices.

U.S.-imposed tariffs are taxes and also a form of regulation, borne mainly by American businesses and ultimately by American consumers. If you want to help Americans, then you need to reduce taxes and regulations, not increase them.
