NIL LAWSUIT: Bears rookie DT Gervon Dexter Sr. sued Big League Advance Fund for violation of Florida's NIL and agency statutes. Dexter signed an NIL deal with BLA in 2022. Alleged terms: $436,485 to Dexter ↔️ NIL services and 15% of his pre-tax NFL earnings for 25 years to BLA.

My two biggest email etiquette pet peeves: 1) Someone calls: "Did you get my email?" Me: "yes, did you get my response to that email?" 2) Someone forwards me an email with no added context or request. I refuse to guess and take action without a question or some kind of comment.

In addition to demoting Royce Lewis to the minors, the Twins also placed Ryan Jeffers on the injured list with a fractured left hamate bone. That's a significant injury for Jeffers. Twins have called up Orlando Arcia to replace Lewis and Alex Jackson to replace Jeffers.

Geno Smith was presented with various options at backup quarterback and he was excited about the prospect of Russell Wilson, per source. Jets and Wilson spoke at some point prior to the draft and scheduled Monday night’s visit then.
