🚨Senior Trump administration official: No signature on the agreement is expected today. There are still a few details to close. There's still back-and-forth on certain details, some words that are important to us and some words that are important to them. The Iranian system in its current configuration doesn't move fast. It will take a few days until this goes through all the approvals. Our understanding is that Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei has approved the broad outline of the agreement; whether this will turn into an agreement is still an open question.

🚨Trump on Truth Social: One of the worst deals ever made by our Country was the Iran Nuclear Deal, put forth and signed into existence by Barack Hussein Obama and the rank amateurs of the Obama Administration. It was a direct path to Iran developing a Nuclear Weapon. Not so with the transaction currently being negotiated with Iran by the Trump Administration - THE EXACT OPPOSITE, in fact! The negotiations are proceeding in an orderly and constructive manner, and I have informed my representatives not to rush into a deal in that time is on our side. The Blockade will remain in full force and effect until an agreement is reached, certified, and signed. Both sides must take their time and get it right. There can be no mistakes! Our relationship with Iran is becoming a much more professional and productive one. They must understand, however, that they cannot develop or procure a Nuclear Weapon or Bomb. I would like to thank, thus far, all of the countries of the Middle East for their support and cooperation, which will be further enhanced and strengthened by their joining the Nations of the historic Abraham Accords and, who knows, perhaps the Islamic Republic of Iran would like to join, as well! Thank you for your attention to this matter

🇺🇸🇮🇷 The latest developments ahead of a potential US-Iran peace agreement:
🔺 The potential agreement between the US and Iran requires Iran to renounce nuclear weapons and begin negotiations on handing over its stockpiles of highly enriched uranium, while simultaneously halting new uranium enrichment. Details regarding the removal of the stockpiles and the duration of the enrichment suspension will be finalized later — CNN reports.
🔷 Tehran has not agreed to remove its highly enriched uranium stockpiles from the country, and the nuclear issue is not part of the current preliminary agreement with the US — Reuters reports, citing Iranian officials.
🇮🇷 The General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces (Khatam al-Anbiya) states that the Supreme Leader’s directives regarding control of the Strait of Hormuz will be fully implemented — “There is no place for foreigners in the new mechanism for managing the region.”
🟥 The Iranian news agency Tasnim reports that the phrase “continuation of the ceasefire” does not appear in the Memorandum of Understanding. Instead, the text declares the end of the war on all fronts, including in Lebanon. Issues related to the Strait of Hormuz and the naval blockade will be discussed within 30 days, while 60 days are allocated for nuclear negotiations.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that Iran is ready to convince the world it is not seeking nuclear weapons, but warned that his negotiating team will not compromise on the country’s “dignity and pride.”
▪️ Two regional high-ranking officials told the Associated Press that the potential agreement includes Iran’s commitment not to develop nuclear weapons and to cede its stockpiles of highly enriched uranium, while negotiations on sanctions relief and the release of frozen funds will take place within 60 days.

🇺🇸🇮🇷⚡- "The White House hopes the final differences will be resolved in the coming hours and that a deal will be announced on Sunday.
It's possible the deal won't even last the full 60 days if the U.S. believes Iran is not serious about nuclear negotiations," - Axios, citing a U.S. official.

Marco Rubio:
Our country unfortunately faced a very serious migratory crisis a few years ago. Over 20 million people unlawfully entered the country.
We saw abuses of the green card system in many cases as well, and so we decided that we were going to reform it.
Anytime you reform a system, there's going to be some disruptions, some hiccups, some inconvenience. But we think in the long term we're going to have a system that's much more stable.
Indian professionals that seek to come to the United States are going to find themselves with a system that is more efficient, more effective, and better for both them and our country as well.

🇺🇸🇮🇷 The United States and Iran are close to signing a 60-day temporary agreement that would reopen the Strait of Hormuz, ease some sanctions on Iran, and resume talks on its nuclear program.
📌 In return, Iran will clear the strait of mines, guarantee freedom of navigation, and commit to negotiations on limiting uranium enrichment and renouncing highly enriched nuclear material.
The purpose of the agreement is to prevent a large-scale regional war and reduce pressure on global oil markets. During the negotiations, US forces will remain in the region, and the easing of sanctions will depend on verifiable concessions from the Iranian side.
The deal also includes an agreement on ending hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon, although Israel has expressed concerns about certain provisions.
📌 Trump and regional mediators hope to announce the agreement on Sunday, but officials say the talks are still fragile and could collapse at the last moment.

Any potential breakthrough over the Strait of Hormuz would depend on Iran accepting and complying with a proposed framework under discussion, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Sunday.
“We think we've made some progress on the outline of something that, if it works, could give us that outcome,” Rubio said alongside his Indian counterpart in New Delhi.
Further negotiations, Rubio said, would still be needed, adding that any agreement would require “full Iranian acceptance and then compliance.”
“There is the possibility that over the next few hours, the world will get some good news,” Rubio said, referring to developments related to the Strait of Hormuz.
The goal, he added, remained ensuring the world no longer faced the threat of an Iranian nuclear weapon.
Rubio also said attacks on commercial vessels were “totally illegal.”

In return, Iran and its allies would pledge not to launch any preemptive military attack on the United States or its allies, according to the report.

NEWS
Axios is reporting that the U.S. and the Islamic Republic of Iran are close to signing a 60-day memorandum of understanding that could extend the ceasefire, reopen the Strait of Hormuz, ease pressure on global oil supplies, and open a new round of nuclear negotiations.
The deal is not final and could still fall apart.
But according to Axios, here is what is currently in it:
The agreement would last 60 days and could be extended by mutual consent.
During that period, the Strait of Hormuz would reopen with no tolls. Iran would agree to clear the mines it deployed in the strait so ships can pass freely again.
In exchange, the U.S. would lift its blockade on Iranian ports and issue some sanctions waivers allowing Iran to freely sell oil. A U.S. official acknowledged this would be a major economic benefit for Iran, but argued it would also bring significant relief to the global oil market.
The nuclear issues would not be resolved in this 60-day agreement. Instead, the MOU would create a negotiating period.
Iran would commit to never pursuing nuclear weapons, and the two sides would negotiate over suspending Iran’s uranium enrichment program and removing its stockpile of highly enriched uranium.
The U.S. would also negotiate over lifting sanctions and unfreezing Iranian funds during the 60-day period, but those steps would only be implemented as part of a final agreement that is verifiably carried out.
The draft MOU also reportedly says the Israel-Hezbollah war in Lebanon would end. Netanyahu raised concerns about that provision and other parts of the deal in a call with Trump.
Trump is reportedly willing to go much further in resetting relations with Iran if his nuclear demands are met.
