I have witnessed this club go from doubters to believers, and from believers to champions. It took hard work and I always did everything I could to help the club get there. Nothing makes me prouder than that.
Us crumbling to yet another defeat this season was very painful and not what our fans deserve. I want to see Liverpool go back to being the heavy metal attacking team that opponents fear and back to being a team that wins trophies. That is the football I know how to play and that is the identity that needs to be recovered and kept for good. It cannot be negotiable and everyone that joins this club should adapt to it.
Winning some games here and there is not what Liverpool should be about. All teams win games.
Liverpool will always be a club that means a great deal to me and to my family. I want to see it succeed for long after I have moved on.
As I’ve always said, qualifying to next season’s Champions League is the bare minimum and I will do everything I can to make that happen.

Yep! I detest that Arne Slot is our manager!

Never felt this disconnected from a Liverpool side ever.

Enough of the excuses now, yes injuries don’t help but every team has injuries, but this is enough now, Slot can not be the manager next season, cos this style of football is not Liverpool. Don’t tell me he won the league last season, he’s got to go end of. #LIVCHE

There is growing concern at Liverpool that several senior players might have lost respect/likeness for head coach Arne Slot.
Alisson Becker, Mohamed Salah, Andrew Robertson, Curtis Jones and Alexis Mac Allister are among those said to be unhappy with the significant drop in training intensity and standards since around November time last year.
With two senior players already confirmed to leave this summer, Mohamed Salah and Andrew Robertson, there is a realistic chance others could follow. The decision on Slot’s future ultimately rests with FSG.
We are bound to see so much change at Liverpool this summer but I would be on the positive side of things.
We should know the final decision on Arne Slot come the end of May/Early June. That is when the end of season review comes in.

Jones and Macca considering futures alongside Ali and the pending departures of Salah and Robbo are the biggest indicators Slot has been given the vote of confidence for now.

🚨 JUST IN 🗣️: Jamie Carragher on Liverpool F.C.’s 2–0 loss at Anfield (4–0 agg) to Paris Saint-Germain F.C.:
“4–0 on aggregate… FOUR! At Anfield?! That’s embarrassing. That’s not a bad night that’s a collapse.
This place used to be a fortress. Teams used to come here beaten before kick-off… now they’re coming here and dominating you.
30% possession in Paris, second best again at Anfield where’s the fight? Where’s the intensity? Under Jürgen Klopp, you press, you hunt, you make it horrible for teams… this lot are just watching the game go by.
And still no Mohamed Salah in big moments? I don’t get it. You leave your biggest weapon out and expect miracles? PSG had a free run!
Too many passengers, no leaders, no personality. This isn’t Liverpool this is a shadow of it.
If this is what Arne Slot is bringing, then it’s nowhere near good enough. he has to go. Simple as that.”
