@JayJayLBernard I haven’t worked for EA for almost 20 years now. If you want to break into the industry, apply for a position in test and then work your ass off to show how you’re capable of more (that’s how I got my start). Meanwhile, DL Unreal or Unity and teach yourself how to dev games.

@JayJayLBernard Hey Jay Jay. I’m glad you enjoyed those games, it means a lot to me to have people remember them to this day. That’s great that you’re designing your own fighting game. What engine are you using? As far as any sfx from the original games, the licenses would all by owned by EA.

@JayJayLBernard I just mean trying to create a sound treatment with a similar feel and sense of impact. iIRC, that was a combination of an instrumental stinger + dramatic ducking of audio + some sweetening sounds and bonecrunching impacts. It was a fairly complex and multi-layered treatment.

@ea_capitalgames Hello my name is Jay Jay. I'm continuing school this summer for my game design courses. And, I'm actually working on my own game which is a fighting game. I loved the Def jam series. For the mechanic wise sound effect when the player is doing the finisher.

@JoshingtonState Ok thank when I go back to school I'll be using unity or unreal whatever engine they offer. And since EA is not going to provide me with a license. What do u mean by creating my own version which I am. Are u talking about a sound board?

@JayJayLBernard EA is not going to provide you with a license so I would just advise you to use them as inspiration and create your own version that captures the same feeling. Good luck!
