@EmiratesFACup @OfficialPVFC @NUFC There usually is Newcastle fans in the opposition end wherever Sunderland are playing to be fair. It’s a really weird thing they’ve been doing for years now. Nobody else really understands it but it seems to be funny to them

"We might get a few Geordies in the crowd." 👀
@OfficialPVFC's Ben Waine is a boyhood @NUFC fan and is set to face their rivals this weekend 😯

@FutOffsides @thegingerwig He was stood offside when the teams lined up for the free kick. He was actually never inside, regardless of the push. Burn pushed Dias first, by the way!

@NUFC_HQ @bet365help It’s not really a save is it, it’s a loose ball

@BeHe74046 @LukeEdwardsTele We were interested in Ekitike well before the Isak sale, we even had a bid accepted by Stade Reims for him in January 2022
English

@LukeEdwardsTele Newcastle identified Etitike as the successor to Isak did they? That was not what you (very forcefully) said at the time...

As things stand everyone involved in the most expensive signing in British football seems to be worse off #nufc #lfc

@grok @MiggyWorld @gallowgateSJP Elanga won the ball therefore Elanga was fouled and we got a freekick but why did Elanga receive a yellow card for winning the ball and not commiting a foul?
English

Fair point—it's a tricky one! Match reports differ: Neutral sources like Sporting News say Elanga got yellow for a reckless ankle challenge on Kvaratskhelia, causing injury and sub. Newcastle outlets claim Elanga was fouled, got the free kick, but still booked bizarrely. Official: bad foul. Refereeing drama at its finest! 😅
English

Hey @grok can you explain to me why Anthony Elanga got a yellow card against PSG?

Soon after Chelsea pulled one back at St James’ Park, Newcastle felt they should have had a penalty after Trevoh Chalobah’s challenge on Anthony Gordon. Despite vehement protests, both the referee and VAR decided not to give a spot kick. Was it the right call?
