The "horror" is that HIV doesn't just infect you.....it becomes you!! Here is why we can't just clear it:
• Genomic Integration: It stitches its own DNA into yours. You can't kill the virus without killing the host cell.
• The Reservoir: It hides in resting memory cells for decades. It stays silent and invisible to both your immune system and our best drugs.
• Mutation Rate: It evolves faster than any biological entity we know. By the time we target one version, it has already mutated into a hundred others.
• Sanctuaries: It hides in the brain and other sites where most drugs can’t reach.

@PozitiveReality Also, there are times na elevated lagi ang heart rate ko, to the point na magigising ako around 2-4am na para akong ni-c-cpr. Even, my apple watch would record the irregularities.

@PozitiveReality 1st time ko ni-take, para akong sumakay ng roller coaster ride hilong hilo ako. Pwera exaggeration. And I'm the type who enjoys the ride so mataas tolerance ko sa hilo.

🙋♂️QUESTION: Is it safe to have sex with Person Living with HIV with UD status?
ANSWER: Yes, it is considered safe. The scientific consensus is that a Person Living with HIV (PLHIV) who has an Undetectable (UD) viral load cannot transmit the virus to their sexual partners.
This is widely known as U=U (Undetectable = Untransmittable).
What U=U Means for Safety
🩸Zero Risk of Transmission: Extensive clinical studies (such as PARTNER and Opposites Attract) monitored thousands of couples where one partner was HIV-positive and undetectable. Across over 100,000 instances of sex without condoms, there were zero cases of HIV transmission to the HIV-negative partner.
🩸Effective Suppression: A viral load is generally considered "undetectable" when it is below 200 copies/ml (though many modern tests look for levels below 50 copies/ml). At this level, there is effectively no risk of sexual transmission.
🩸Consistency is Key: For U=U to remain effective, the person must continue taking their Antiretroviral Therapy (ART) exactly as prescribed and maintain regular check-ups to ensure their viral load stays suppressed.
‼️Important Considerations‼️
While the risk of transmitting HIV is zero under these conditions, there are two practical points to keep in mind:
1. Other STIs: Being undetectable only prevents the transmission of HIV. It does not protect against other sexually transmitted infections (STIs) like syphilis, gonorrhea, or chlamydia. Condoms are still the best tool for preventing these.
2. Confirmation: Safety is based on a "sustained" undetectable status. Most health experts recommend that a person be undetectable for at least six months before relying solely on U=U for prevention.

Yep! PEP can definitely be pricey. Out-of-pocket, it usually runs around ₱5–7k for the full 28-day course. That’s actually standard pricing, not overcharging.
The reason ARVs and PrEP are often free is because they’re subsidized by the government or supported by public health and NGO programs.
PEP is different, it’s for emergencies and mostly isn’t covered yet, so most people still end up paying cash.
Bottom line:
If you’re sexually active, don’t wait for an emergency. PrEP + condoms are way cheaper, safer, and less stressful than needing PEP later.

I have deleted the video as requested.
When discussing collabs—whether I am invited or reaching out myself—I typically share my X account. I do this so potential partners can browse my profile and become aware that I am PLHIV before we commit to working together.
Sadly, he’s holding me responsible for losing clients. He claims that because we worked together, his potential clients thinks he is infected.
This is another example of the stigma that persists within the community and the ongoing lack of education regarding PLHIV and how the condition is managed. That said, I realize I missed the step of verbally disclosing my status to him directly.

In the Philippines, HIV is recognized as a disability under the Magna Carta for PWDs (RA 7277). It is typically classified as a Chronic Illness or Psychosocial Disability, though the specific category may vary by LGU.
The primary requirements usually involve a Medical Certificate and an application process through the local government unit (LGU).
Iloilo City's process for obtaining a PWD ID is straightforward and efficient. Here are the necessary requirements:
Required Documents
1. Medical Certificate: Must specify the Type of Disability and be duly signed by the attending physician. (For PLHIV, this is typically classified as Chronic Illness or Psychosocial Disability).
2. PWD Application Form: Available at your specific Local Government Unit (LGU) office.
3. 2x2 Pictures (2 copies): Must have a white background.
4. Government-Issued ID: Any valid ID that clearly shows your current Address.
The entire application process in Iloilo City is highly efficient, often taking only about 30 minutes to have your PWD ID ready.
Please Note: The specific requirements and processing time depend on your LGU.
