2/ The reason he should be tried as opposed to face vigilante justice is that eg the boy he allegedly raped in Fiji should have an opportunity to know that he, as well as each of the other victims, receive justice. Knowing he has to live in fear every day in prison is justice.

I used to do my swimming in Dungog (nearest pool). There's no way this thing should be out in the community unless they are attempting to make him disappear – it is too risky to HIM to not be in prison pending trial. He should be in protective custody.
