@jessejanderson Absolutely. A handful of shit-my-pants moments caused enough shame to make me overcompensate in that area. But adding time to a journey is one fix that was ok enough to make, plenty of other difficulties that I’ve not made up for where others have x

Wow, thanks everyone for the feedback! It seems like the most common themes are: • overcompensating due to anxiety or fear of failing or being “exposed” as being bad at time management • learned trauma response • “waiting mode” aka: can’t do anything else anyways

ADHDers are often late-to-all-the-things (school, work, appointments, job interviews, etc). But some are always early! For those early-to-all-the-things ADHDers, how would you explain the reasoning behind this? (want to make sure I understand/explain it well for my book)

Had my "assessment call", the first part of NHS ADHD diagnosis today and... It was literally just a 2 hr call where they asked me the same questions that were on the form they had me fill out. Maybe I'm just in a mood, but is this one of the reasons the waiting list is 2 years?

Still excited opening up a fresh box of copies to send out to their new homes…

It is totally immoral that the Home Office is still applying normal visa restrictions to those fleeing Ukraine. The Government must urgently provide a simple sanctuary route to the UK for all who need it. This is our moral duty.
